LEGO Superheroes 76012 Batman: The Riddler Chase

First of all, I'm tired of seeing people here complaining about amazon jacking up the price. Amazon does NOT jack up the price for any lego set. The inflated price of a lego set you see comes from a third party seller when amazon doesn't have the product in stock. This is also true for any other out of stock products sold on amazon. Besides, this is the place to review the product itself and not to rant about amazon's pricing.Now for the product itself, you will want this set mainly because of flash and the new printing for the riddler. The batmobile is also a very solid built. There are a few things that I wish they could improve:1. Give riddler a cane and not a crowbar. Come on lego, how could you screw that up?2. Put a hinge on the batmobile's door like the other batmobile in the two-face chase set or the batcopter in the man-bat set so batman doesn't have to take out the door every time he needs to get in and out!3. The riddler's dragster is a little flimsy. The wing and the money bags come off very easily every time my kid plays with it.Despite all these complaints I'm still going to give it fives star rating overall because the batmobile is just too awesome and having flash in set is already epic.

Liked the mini figures and the cars. Great gift.

I love this lego set! I did purchase it above list price, but since you can't buy it on the lego website, there's not much choice. That being said I think it was worth the extra dollars I spent on it anyways. I like the mini-figures and the Batmobile most. The Riddler's vehicle was so-so by my opinion, but I think his mini-figure looks really good.On a side note, be weary of the third party sellers! I bought mine from Planet Fun Toys and they did nothing to protect the box which arrived in horrible shape. This seller also put the shipping stickers on the actual lego box, which made me mad because I like to keep them for decoration etc.

Great set, and probably the cheapest way to get a decent Batmobile. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that this set may be the only way to get the Flash minifigure; which is the original reason why I had to get this set. At first, I didn't like the design for the Riddler's vehicle, but after building it, I think it's alright. I don't like the spoiler in the back. It is somewhat loose and may spin around. But what I do really like is the motor that sits right in front of him. In hand, it looks really nice and convincing. Overall, I do recommend this set.

Great kit to assemble and play with. I bought this for my 11 year old and helped him assemble it. If I’m being honest I really did about 75% of the building as I can’t put legos down!The kit was easy to assemble like most LEGO kits but I see my son using the cars to play more than his other kits. I Like the shooting gun on the bat mobile and the dropping bombs on the riddlers car. Good addition to any LEGO collection. Don’t use the KRAGLE!

I'm quite protective of "My Amazon." I love it and believe everything is less expensive on it. My son is 7 and adores Legos so instead of wandering aimlessly through isles, I let my fingers walk right to Amazon.com when I hear of a new figurine or set he would like. That said, I saw Brian's comment about this set being a lot less expensive and thought "jerk - in what world do you live in where Lego,com is cheaper." I also thought "why did you give 5 stars?" I stand corrected and hereby formally apologize to Brian. It's only $29 there vs $38 here, and I have no idea why, Amazon people? Any reason? I gave 4 stars just because it's a jacked up price here I guess I could return it and order it from Lego directly but I hate returning stuff so I'll complain but won't do anything more. This was a present for my son's 5th birthday. He loves Legos and he loves super heroes so this really is the perfect toy for any young boy. The Riddler's car is much easier to put together than the bat mobile but we put the whole set together in about an hour. As with most Lego products, the instructions were easy to follow because of the clear pictures. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a gift for a boy.

Certain Lego sets are slightly over priced. This one is almost perfect. For the amount you pay you get a good deal. It comes with mini-figures of The Riddler, The Flash and Batman. The vehicles are the Batmobile and a Riddler drag racer. The set is fairly easy to put together so its a good set for young children to begin building Legos with.This is a perfect gift for anyone who is a fan of Batman, superheroes or Legos in general.
