InteVision Knee Pillow - Provides Optimal Spinal Alignment to Help Reduce Lower Back, Leg, Hip, Ankle, or Joint Pain

I am 31, female, 5'5 and a side sleeper. (Obviously) I was always trying to angle my legs in such a way that I was on my side but my knees were separated which ultimately resulted in lower back and hip pain. This pillow is thick (read the dimensions) but not so thick as to cause poor alignment of your spine or hips when using. The memory foam keeps the pillow a little on the cooler side (not freezing) but also keeps it from being easily squished by the weight of your top leg. On the nights I use this, I wake up with far less back pain than the nights I don't. In my attached photo I am putting absolutely no pressure on the pillow with my hand, but I can comfortably close my fingers and thumb in a decent grip on the formed portion.

I am a side sleeper with sciatic nerve issues, I was waking up nearly every morning with knee, hip and sciatic nerve pain. I tried sleeping with a regular pillow between my legs but it was too soft. It did help but I still had pain. My mother had a special knee pillow just like this one years ago so I did a quick amazon search and found the InteVision Knee Pillow.I have never slept more comfortably and woken up pain free and it's all thanks to this knee pillow. It's soft and comfortable yet firm enough to keep my knees from touching. I'm 5 feet tall and it's worked perfectly for me and my husband who is 6'3" and a larger man has "stolen" my knee pillow from me every now and again and it's worked perfectly for him as well. It was firm enough to keep his knees from touching as well. I've been using this pillow for almost a year now and it hasn't lost it's shape or any firmness. The removable cover has been extremely helpful since I am able to throw it into the wash to keep my pillow clean and fresh.I sleep with this pillow just about every night unless my husband "steals" it and I love it. I think it might be time to buy my husband his own so we can both sleep comfortable and wake up each morning refreshed and pain free.

I have lower back problems and was told by the nurse at my doctors office that we should sleep with pillows between our legs to keep our hips in line. I did a lot of research on knee pillows before buying the InteVision Knee Pillow and I must say, the research paid off. It's not a huge pillow, it fits perfectly between my legs, keeps my hips in alignment and once I got used to sleeping with it between my legs, I have restful sleep and my lower back has less pain in it. I can also tell a different from when I sleep with it to when I don't sleep with it. The contour in the pillow also helps keep it between the legs, so when I move at night, my legs keep it in place, I am not waking up every time I move to re-adjust. I've had it for almost a month and have yet for it to lose it's shape or piss me off :-)

This pillow has been really helpful for me. After being pregnant, my pubic bone continued to hurt in the middle of the night for months after having the baby. I started to suspect I needed support between my knees so that there wasn't pressure on my pubic bone from my upper leg. So I tried a couch pillow and it didn't really work well. I tried this pillow and it really helps! It takes a few days to get used to, but after that I decided I like it. All pain in my pubic bone in the night time went away.However, it has been 6 months and now I need a new one. The foam was about 4 inches thick in the middle when I first got it. And it was very firm and didn't compress much. Now it is about 3 1/2 inches and compresses quite a bit, to about 2 inches when being used. It is still comfortable to sleep with, but I started having pain in my pubic bone again. So I assume that all those reviews that say it compresses too much may be from people who have had theirs for some time.All that said, I am ordering another one. It is pretty cheap. I don't see any others that are advertising a higher density foam that will hold up any longer. I think this is just the nature of cheap foam.

I wish I had purchased one of these pillows months ago. It doesn't look like much, but this little piece of contoured foam is really comfortable and moves with you. More importantly the hip pain I was having when sleeping on my side stopped the first night. I was skeptical about the claims of pain relief in previous reviews. While this pillow may not work for everyone, it has made a big difference in how long I can sleep on my side. Now I am scheming how to make room for it in my suitcase when I travel.I just purchased this pillow so I don't know how long it will last. It seems fairly well made. The surfaces are smooth, and it comes with a zippered fabric cover. To be safe I slipped the pillow inside a regular pillow case to further protect it from my youngest house cat, an otherwise charming little kitty, possessed by multiple "personal" moments throughout the day.Given the results, I will repurchase this pillow or other product like it when this one wears out.

I have lower back subluxations and my sleep position was exacerbating the problem, ending up with occasional sciatica pains shooting down my right leg. This knee pillow has really helped me keep a better position while sleeping, which relieves that narrowing of my lumbar vertebrae. Between this and the chiropractor I feel much better than I did a few months ago. The chiropractor was doing his best, but until I corrected my sleep position, the problem persisted. So I must say that this little pillow has worked wonders for me and my condition. The knee spacing is good for me, not too close together and not too far apart. I have not had any problems keeping it in position when I roll over, even when I first started using it. The cover washes up nicely in the washing machine. And the memory foam holds its shape even after a few months of use. Overall, this is a good quality knee pillow and I would recommend it.
