I have purple hair and I use semi permanent dye which washes out quicker than it should. I have been struggling to find a good shampoo and conditioner that doesn't strip the color. I also struggle with dry damaged hair from doing too much bleaching. I need a shampoo and conditioner that hydrates and is also color safe.This shampoo and conditioner come together as a set when purchasing. There are loads of good stuff in this product. First off, the color in my hair doesn't rinse out when using this product and my bring purple color has been beautifully maintained. The combo is also very hydrating to my damaged hair. This shampoo doesn't get sudsy when put in the hair which makes you need to use larger amounts to get a clean feeling head. That fact is one reason I gave only 4 stars. Another reason is the price is a bit high and it seems as though the bottles are not full when receiving this. A plus about this combo is the lovely fresh ingredients make for a very delightful smell that remains in your hair for a long time.Honestly, I would recommend this product for anyone with bright colored hair that wishes to maintain their color about 90%. This is a good product and makes my hair soft and frizzy is gone. Hope this was helpful.

I just got it and have used it four times. My hair is fine and shoulder length. One pump was enough. Maybe even a little too much. So a little bit goes a long ways. The shampoo has no smell to me. The conditioner has a slight man- deodorant smell, is what I'd compare it too. But it's not strong at all. That's just what immediately popped in my head when I smelt it. So its not unpleasant either. My hair was nice and soft afterwards and light and airy. Not weighted down like some conditioners do. I've bought and used other brands of rice shampoos and conditioners and bars. But I do prefer liquid. And I found this one to be nicer bottles and design, and the pumps worked great are convenient for my arthritic hands. Also for size and cost, it's comparable and affordable. For now.
