Hatch Green Chile Powder 4oz (Mild)

Green chili enchiladas. Salsa Verde. Green eggs and ham ( ;-) )Stop here. New Mexico produces a great green chili. Just add a little water, a little lime juice (or vinegar) and a little fresh garlic and you are good to go. Now, I was raised not to mix dried chili’s with fresh, but if you find the sauce a little flat, add a Serrano to brighten it up a bit.

I use this chile powder to season a lot of my cooking. I use it in soups and stews as well as on chicken and salmon. It adds great flavor and adds a great smoky flavor to my dishes. I have even used it in my pecan brittle and it’s pretty great!

My hatch batch this year were far more mild than the peppers the roasters said they were. This adds the right flavor and heat of pure chile without altering flavor like red chile powder. You can also add it to other things for flavor and kick

Grew up with hatch green chili. This is amazing!

The heat level is Mild, which is what I wanted. The quality of the spice is good. I like to use it when I don't have fresh Hatch Green Chile available.

Title is the same as the review. Great flavor, but I would go with a spicier version.
