Pretty easy to install. Connects with the monitor straightaway and the picture is good quality. Customer service very responsive.

I have installed this in my Transit Custom, fixing the camera to the top of the rear door and running the power lead to the reversing light harness on the back lights. The Sender box was mounted to the inside of the rear door using adhesive velcro and has stayed in place with no problem at all. The monitor is windscreen mounted but, instead of using the accessory plug supplied as the socket on my Transit is constantly “live” I hard wired it to the fuse box, using a piggy back fuse on the “customer accessory” fuse space. I also put a switch in line to the monitor, so I could turn it on after I had started the engine. I did this because the first key click on the ignition switch turns on the electrics and the monitor but then, as you turn the key through the next position to start the engine, it momentarily cuts the power to everything as the starter demands all power. On occasion this caused the Monitor to fire up, then cut out and reboot, but it would then seem to get stuck on a bright screen. I guess the procedure never gave the monitor the opportunity to shut down properly and then reboot, as the power was not cut off long enough…understandable. Fitting the manual switch cured this problem and the screen starts up really quickly and picks up the picture from the camera within about a second. I really think the Monitor could do with an independent switch to turn it on/off, particularly if you use the accessory plug, and it is constantly “live” as in my case then, to avoid running the battery down, you have to unplug it. I would rather leave it plugged in and just press a switch to turn it on and off. The whole set up works fine…My Transit has a bulkhead and the signal seems to penetrate this with no problem. There is plenty of up and down adjustment on the camera to get just the right position and the image on the monitor is really very good, even in low light. To achieve all this, I contacted Auto Vox Customer Services by email a couple of times and the response from “Gigi’ was swift, with concise answers to my questions and tremendous follow up to see just how I was getting on.. The company is excellent to deal with… This reversing camera does exactly as it says it will do…. You don’t have to hardwire and switch as I have.. Thats just me!! Installation is straight forward with everything you need, supplied. I’m delighted with this reversing camera… wonderful not having the hassle of having to hardwire from rear to dash. The wireless system works really well. I don’t think you would be disappointed buying this product but if you did run into a problem there is always the excellent customer service that I experienced. Now I have purchased another for my car…… I did think given the product description that this latest model had the sender built into the camera.....Not the case....and after contacting the excellent customer service at Auto Vox and a few explanations, I can see that the description could be read in two ways. So too could the customer service who were concerned about my experience and assisted considerably. I can't fault this product. It has performed very well for me in my Transit and I look forward to installing the new one in my car... Customer Service at Auto Vox is excellent !!!! fast with replies....and truly cares about the customer and the customer's experience. The camera arrived quickly and was easy to fit. The signal was strong and setting up the camera was completed in a matter of seconds. It has made reversing my caravan much easier as I go camping alone. The field of view could be a little wider but overall, a good investment.

I purchased the Auto Vox W7 for my Vivaro van after a lot of searching for a product that was easy to install and provided good day and night vision. The W7 definitely does the job with the wireless connectivity making the installation so much easier particularly in a van with the bulkhead still in position. I wanted the camera positioned up high rather than located low down clipped to the number plate so I purchased an after market 3rd brake light which I have cut and incorporated the W7 camera in to. The wiring instructions were clear (and there are a couple of YouTube videos also which explain the installation process and the importance of the earthing wire) and splicing in to the reversing light wiring was easy with the connectors provided. It all works really well. It would be good if there was an alternative range of mounting accessories available rather than just the suction cup. The Vivaro has a possible fixing point in the rear-view mirror position but I couldn't source anything to fit which would enable W7 display unit to sit there comfortably and allow for adjustment when driving. I ended up making a mounting plate to fit in the storage bay on the dashboard (I think that mounting on the windscreen probably hampers driving vision a bit too much but that's just personal preference). Highly recommended and well worth the money.

Etwas skeptisch ob das Teil brauchbar ist war ich anfangs schon. Nachdem ich die leicht verständliche Anleitung gelesen hatte ging es zum Einbau der Kamera hinten. Das ging mit überschaubarem Aufwand bei unserem Fiat Ducato. Der größter Aufwand war das richtige Kabel für das Rückfahr-Licht zu finden. Wenn das geschehen ist, kann man das Kabel für die Kamera einfach damit verbinden und es am Platz der Wahl befestigen. Ich habe es direkt an der Halterung für das Kennzeichen befestigt. Bildschirm ist super easy anzubringen, einfach an den Zigarettenanzünder dran und Bildschirm schaltet sich beim einlegen des Rückwärtsganges ein. Bild Qualität geht absolut in Ordnung, da war ich recht überrascht von der Qualität. Mann sieht gut was hinten los ist auch bei Dämmerung. Im Dunkeln habe ich es noch nicht getestet. Insgesamt ist es für mich eine große Hilfe unseren fast 6meter langen Ducato zu rangieren. Preis Leistung ist für mich absolut in Ordnung, würde ich wieder kaufen.

J'ai installé la caméra sur mon camping car fourgon de 6,36m en haut des 2 portes arrières juste dessus le feu stop il y avait l'ancien hs et filaire , je porte un scooter 125cm aussi ce qui explique la hauteur de la caméra . L'installation est simple avec l'écran sur le tableau de bord après je me suis fais assisté par mon mécano pour le raccordement sur le feu de recul pour trouver le bon fil et surtout pour ne pas la griller j'avais la distri en mème temps afr, le résultat est super avec les gabarits sur la route , à voir dans le temps mon mécano va prendre la mème .

Ottimo prodotto, 10 minuti per l'istallazione, funziona benissimo, consegna prima del previsto venditore eccellente, salve cerco la telecamera piu piccola che è compatibile per questo kit, per installarla a una Fiat 500 del 2009,quella che c'è i dotazione è un pi grande e copre la visuale, grazie mille

Dieses System ist Genial und sehr einfach zu montieren. Ich habe die Kamera an meinem AHK Fahrradträger (am Halter über dem Nummernschild) montiert und das Anschlußkabel (+ an PIN 8 (Rückleuchte) und - an PIN 13 (Masse)) im Stecker verschraubt. Jeder der sich jetzt meinem Fahrradträger ausleiht bekommt dem Monitor mit und hat damit eine Perfekte Einparkhilfe. Rückwärtsgang rein und schon ist das Bild da, Perfekt!!
