Kidde Smoke Detector, Battery Operated Smoke Alarm with Safety Light, Hush Feature

The smoke alarm is worth the money, easy to get set up but I must warn when you test be looking away because that light is bright! Which is good in a dark hallway in the middle of the night if you must exit your home but again do not look straight at the light. I do recommend this smoke alarm even though I have not had a reason for it to go off and Hope I never do

This is one of only 2 units I could find that had a light on it. This one also has 2 batteries which I like. The other hl see 3asnyje.more typical single 9 volt.

I trust this product to keep my family and friends safe in my home, by keeping us aware of any emergencies related to fire and smoke. I am a bit disappointed about this one package, as I purchased several for my home. This package was cut open on the bottom and the second provided battery was removed, I can only assume it happened at the packing facility because the cut appeared to be done with a sharp knife. Other than this tiny issue, I give this product a top review. You can trust Kidde.

This one should be included in every home. For the little it costs... $15-$20 dollars, it's very affordable and a NO Brainer. Our home insurance company said that people should have one in each room. We used many of them.For around the clock peace of mind, these are worth to save lives.

New RV came with a small cheap smoke detector that has no "hush" button for the small wisp of smoke that may occur when cooking. Got tired of waving magazines at the ceiling to shut up the cheap small detector, so searched out & bought this one, It is also nice to have a light if it should be a true emergency at night. The hush button definitely is a must in any RV where you are cooking or frying.

The Amazon product details say it's a photoelectric detector type. However, the actual product model i9080 is an ionization type detector. Today the photoelectric detectors are most recommended, especially for smoldering slow fires.Also, the plastic clamshell package looks like someone has cut around the perimeter of it. Although it doesn't seem to have been completely opened, it's just kind of sketchy.

I needed to update my smoke detector and found the same brand (but updated) from my original. Low cost, easy to install, DONE!

Nice smoke alarm but it is several years old, so you won't be able to get 10 years out of it before you need to replace it. Batteries included are dated 2010.

exactly what i wanted but was annoyed to be delivered with flat battery, not sure which battery, as it takes 2 types so got to buy extras now. Apart from that, easy to fit, loud and quick delivery
