Creativity Street Spring Clothespins, Natural, Extra-Large, 3-3/8", 50 Pieces

I ordered this Item and received it faster than expected. The Item was exactly what was described. however it was not exactly what I was looking for. This is not the fault of the Seller. This is not an issue with this product. This was a mistake by me which is why I can give this a 5 star rating. I am rating the product and the seller which were both great. I should have waited to buy something that I could see and feel first hand. The Seller was very understanding and refunded me my money when I asked for a return. The seller was very promt hel[ping with the return process also. I have no cokmplaints about the transaction. Thought does anyone know where I can find over sized Clothes pins used for building accoustic instruments?

These clothespins are ok, and they will hold most anything you can throw up on a line with the exception of a very heavy towel or comforter. The springs are a little lighter weight than on some old clothespins that I've had for 20 years and the wood does flex quite a bit right or left as a result. Despite this, they do the job (I've been using them for 2 months) with no major problems.

These have low pressure springs, so they are fairly easy to open, but don't hold tightly. The levers are pretty short, so the weak springs are probably necessary. Also, they don't stay aligned very well so it's easy to accidentally twist them so the jaws don't line up. They are serviceable, just not five star quality.

Either clothespins have changed since I was a kid, or these are just poor quality. I'm guessing the latter. These look and feel cheap. The wood is often not smooth, and I've even gotten splinters from them. I used a few and gave away the rest.

Except for the small cuts to improve gripping by wet fingers, these look just like the ones we swiped out of mom's clothes pin bag and made into zip guns back in 1955. Strong and defect free wood! Good clamping pressure! As I haven't actually tried to make any zip guns out of these, I can't rate them in that respect, but work good as clothes pins!

Very lightweight and kind of flimsy as far as clothespins go, but serves my purpose for odds and ends and clips for open chip bags, ect.

The quality is not great, but for the price that's a good deal.

So far... so good.. able to hang clothes outside..
