Happy with these GE MV Lamps
Had great reservations about ordering these after reading that most arrive crushed. Based on Home Depot prices I went ahead and ordered them and they arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. Now I have a couple of my Ruud ICM1 low bay lights brighter than the others..! Yes, they do loose brightness over time but this is the first time I've had to replace bulbs in 20 years.Now I just need to get advise on when and how to convert to LED Corn bulbs. Perhaps now was the time?

Make sure metal halide bulb and ballast match
Price was nearly half of local price so with a two pack I have a spare.

Arrived defective.
Both bulbs arrived with this internal damage, I hate the hassle of returns, so i installed them anyway.... they initially worked,, but one just burnt out a month later, I expect the other to follow shortly.

Bright, brighter, BRIGHTEST!
The light was so bright that I needed to shut it off while looking to see if the fixture was oriented correctly with the others.

Better than before
Great product at a very fair price. Delivered quickly. Seemed to work better than previous 400w light bulbs for my warehouse.
