Hybrid Power provides use flexibility during emergencies
I can use my Ryobi One+ 18 volt batteries when the power goes out during storms, and simply "plug it in" when power is working. Moves a large volume of air, even on low speed, and is very quiet too.

Great for outdoors, keeping air flow going
I use these in my chicken runs when it gets hot. It's blowing hot air around when it's 100 degrees, of course, but the circulation is key with the chickens. I use it in their runs, one hung from above on a support, another on a mid-level stand, and I love that I can have them in a more permanent spot or I can have them mobile. I can use a battery (it does take a lot of battery power, so only about 2-3 hrs at a time that way) or I can plug it in. They are great - I loved them so much that I bought 4 or maybe 5 this year!

Awesome!!
This fan is amazing!!! My 20 year old mare does not handle summer heat well at all. After her most recent bout of EPM, her sweating has become worse. We had the original small ryobi fan but it just wasn’t moving enough air. We also have 3 GeekAire fans (we had 4 but one died after one season) but we were having to run up to the barn every 3 hours to change fans. I decided to give this fan a try and I am impressed!! The 4.0AH battery lasted 5 hours on high. I have put on an order for the 9.0ah and look forward to no longer running up to the barn to switch fans or needing to sponge bathe my girl to prevent heat stress. Pricey but worth the money!!Just a side note, my horse only has power at her stall when the lights are on so we need battery powered fans! This would also be awesome for camping or power outages!UPDATE!! This fan is amazing!!! My horse loves it!! However, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the 9ah battery!!!! More than double the power of my 4ah and it only gave me an extra hour of run time!! I presume it’s defective and it’s going back!!

Battery or power cord - very convenient
We bought this for our lanai on hot evenings. Love that it is battery operated or use with power cord. The fan works well. It's a little bit bigger and somewhat more industrial looking than I expected, but nicely serves the purpose!

OMG Best Ever
This fan arrived today and size of box surprised me (big and heavy). Upon opening and removing fan I was pleasantly surprised at quality of this fan. Metal parts everywhere. Over the years I have purchased all sizes and types of fans including ceiling fans...yes, I like fans. Having said that, I am a long time RYOBI tool guy; have over half dozen 18 volt batteries (multiple sizes) and ah up to 5ah lithium - half dozen chargers and almost every tool they sell. Oh yes, I did have the small Ryobi "plastic" fan and never liked. My wife & I are retired living at Jacksonville Beach FL and do fair amount of yard work. This fan will be with us outside whether we are on swing on dock or working in yard with flowers. The breeze if amazing on low and with 5ah batteries (we have plenty) hours of utility. If you even think you would like a portable quiet fan AND you already have Ryobi 18 volt batteries and chargers...order ASAP. You will thank me.Ron

Disappointing
Does not move enough air. I have about 15 ryobi tools 18v and 40v. Everything else I have is great. They missed the mark on this one. It's not even that it's low powered just on battery, it's no different on 110v. It's about as powerful as a $20 box fan from Walmart

Quiet and Powerful
My local gym uses this and I was very impressed by just how quiet it is and very powerful as well. I got one for my home gym. I also have all Ryobi lawn and tool equipment and that I can use my existing batteries on it if needed is great.
