I should have known I'd love this product—after all, I only climb with Friction Labs chalk. Lately I've been climbing harder and it's taken a toll on my hands. (I'm talking nasty peeling, and not just my calluses.) I had been using the Joshua Tree climbing salve, but it wasn't working and I only like using it right before I go to bed since it's so greasy. I ordered Metolius's product as well and noticed the same problem. A friend of mine recommended this and I was skeptical at first based on how many products I had tried, but I decided to give it a shot. (Also had a hard time finding this because you can't put a space in between "climb" and "skin" or this won't come up.) Anyway, after 3 days of use my hands feel great and my fingers no longer look like they're peeling. Awesome product! Just note: I put it on late one night and forgot to put the lid on. Woke up and there was a nasty dried layer of product. Luckily it easily scraped away and the rest of the product is still good to use. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This stuff is great for healing the skin on my finger tips and making them feel a little tougher. They work well to moisturize and absorb into skin. Normally balms tend to linger on the finger tips and are waxy. My only nitpick is this stuff is expensive so be prepared to make it last if that's a concern

Our family uses this after our climb sessions. It’s really good, enjoy the smell, and there is no greasy after use feel. And it restores the skin very well, highly recommend.

I love to use this after a Lyra or Silks session. Moisturizes my hands without softening any much needed calluses, and it just feels nice on sore hands!

Super creamy when you put it on. It is a little greasy but nothing crazy. Nit sure if it takes the sting away but it does help with dry hands after being in chalk.

This is the best skin care lotion for your hands as a climber I've ever used. Usually after a climb you wash your hands dry them and throw on some regular lotion, leaving your already sore and weak hands slick to try to drive home. This skin care lotion/balm soaks in immediately soothing any skin rips or blisters without making them soft which leads to more skin being removed. It has helped my hands keep my calluses healthy without forcing them to feel like a block of sandpaper. I truly cannot recommend this enough. It's pricey but worth it.

I have severely cracked painful hands from work. Tried every lotion, product, anything to ease the pain. Nothing even comes close to this. I can’t stand lotion greasiness or the smell. But this doesn’t resemble lotion. It fully hydrates my hands and not greasy afterwards - I’m amazed and shocked. Been using it all day and the open cuts from cracking don’t even hurt. 100% recommend if you have severely dry skin. Thanks a lot!

This is my first time trying to use something that isn't simple moisturizer, or Eucerin's advanced repair cream, so my experience is lacking in the realm of climber-focused hand cream. I finally bought into getting a hand cream after getting a painful flapper, and this has been well worth it so far. My recovery speed has significantly increased and I don't find the cream to be that greasy, which I hear is the main complaint of these creams.

this product changed my life. used to get flappers all the time during long bouldering sessions (like legit once a week). I started using climb skin and filing my hand callouses, not kidding I haven't got a single flapper since.
