Best slow release fertilizer ever.
I used it in my planted aquarium, in my garden, and in my indoor plants, and the growth of the plants are astonishing, the best part is I thought it will melt under water (under the substrate) within a month but I was wrong, it still haven't melted completely, the size of the fertilizer grain has reduced. Which I had checked manually, best n cheap solution for low tech planted aquarium. But it also have some cons too, they are as follows: Cons: 1) It is not compitable with 🦐 shrimps. (They will die as the copper is 0.05 but that's still higher for shrimps. 2) it has a tendency to burn or melt the plant at first then re grow like crazy, both summerge and emmarged, (in normal pots not in aquarium). Note if you want to use it in your planted tank, you need to change water about 30 to 50 ℅ in every 3 days in a week, for atleast 30 days. Now let's talk about the pros Pros: 1) Thou it's mentioned on the packet it's for 6 months but in reality it will slowly release the fertilizer upto 10 months. 2) The growth of any plant that have this fertilizer grows like a monster. 3) Cheap and effective gardening solution. 4) The grains has a polimer coating which prevents it from melting, and stay as it is upto 8 months in direct water, upto 10 months under water(under substrate in an planted aquarium) and 10+months under moist soil. And 10++ months in dry soil. (It may stay and release for 1.5 years or so in dry soil). My Overall conclusion: A must buy product, and the specifications are similar to the Osmocote. Definitely value for money. I am totally amazed and loved it. Store in dark and dry place. (Inside a box would be great)

Basacote To use or not to use??
First of all I would like to clarify that this product alone won't do any miracles to your plant. Several factors are to be accounted for like water retention capacity of your soil,pH of the soil, potting mix used and regular care of your plant. For example I used 60% cocopeat with 30% regular seived soil and added 10% vemicompost. These Basacote balls have definitely done miracles in my garden.Just adding 2-3 grams of basacote 6 M before sowing my plant has given me excellent results. For last six months I haven't added anything new and the flowers just keep blooming. Definitely recommended for short on time gardeners like me.Further more the brand is a reputed one and the fertilizer is imported from Germany. A short note I would like to add that while Basacote will nourish your plants but it won't prevent fungal and insect attack.A little bit of foliar spray with application of fungicide like SAAF and mild insecticide will definetly bloom your garden. Pics of my plants are attached for your reference.

DO NOT USE IT FOR PLANTED AQUARIUMS
I was searching cheap alternatives for root tabs for aquariums, then I came across this product. But upon using it I found out it releases a lot of ammonia/ammonium in the water column, which is bad because firstly plants cannot directly intake ammonia, they have to convert it into nitrates first resulting in slow uptake rate which encourages algae growth, secondly by releasing a lot of ammonia it could be fatal for the livestock and can also prohibit plant growth. I started adding these to my house plants and they are really liking it. SO USE IT ONLY FOR TERRESTRIAL PLANTS.
