It can rotate 360 degrees
I purchased this item in summer of 2015.. Be extra careful not to allow the iMac latch to go in when removing the stand because if it goes it and the card wasn't used properly, it will be difficult to get it out. *happened to usI like how it's very well built, has heavy metal and good plastic parts.it can rotate any desire, move up/down, left, right,It can be tight on the wall or extended outwards, some times when I'm standing I lift it high up and it moves flawlessly.. Just be sure to adjust the spring during first time setup.Best price for this kind of mount .

Ehhhhhh
Great mount but on my 20” iMac the spring is too strong and won’t stay where I’d like. I followed the directions and reduced the spring tension and still have the same problem. The mount is sturdy and the quality seems great. Also had to customize the interface between my iMac and the mount because certain iMac 🖥 base mounts can’t be removed.

Love this wall mount but installation is tricky
This a great wall mount and you DO NOT need the Vesa mount adapter with this. It isn't easy taking the stand off the computer (Apple obviously does't want you to remove it) but there are several YouTube videos that can help with this.1. Remove the stand by laying the monitor on a flat surface where the stand is hanging over the edge of the table. I found using a credit card worked better than the card that was provided. Push a credit card up into the top of the stand while moving the stand down it will make a clicking noise and will snap into a position that will allow you to remove the screws (hang on to these screws) Unfortunately the flange that the stand is attached to will pop back into the monitor once the stand is removed.2. Take some thin steel wire (copper isn't strong enough) and thread it through one of the holes in the flange (part you removed the screws from to take the stand off) Pull up on the flange using the wire while using the credit card to depress the locking mechanism (the same motion you used to get the stand in position for removal) You need to do both of these at the same time. It will make that clicking sound and the flange will be in the up position. This is where it will stay.3. The flange is now stable and can receive the mounting bracket with the same screws that you used to remove the stand. The angle is tricky, but the screws go in pretty easily.

incorrect assembly?
Seems to be a mistake in the construction - angle is not as it appears in images or instructions, and unable to loosen or adjust in a way that would make sense. The angle is such that the screen would face the ceiling. Has been a frustration that was set aside and is now too late to return and do not how how to contact the seller directly

Worth The Money
Very well built and sturdy. Nice materials. Able to make fine positional adjustments to the monitor, which is terrific.Easy installation, and the unit is very attractive.

Good Looks and Functionality, needs better manual
This mount is both good looking and does the job well: up, down, side to side. The instruction manual was minimal. Some You Tube tutorials helped me. Was worth the trouble. The two screws to wall mount it were not enough so I drilled two more holes in the plate, one for each side as well as the top and bottom. Now it is secure and I like it. I was able to handle the weight of the iMac but having someone to help move the computer onto the wall mount post may be necessary. I had to take it on and off a couple of times while dialing in the correct spring tension. Now it holds the heavy iMac in any position.

Good product, but they sent me a used one.
I like the product a lot, feels sturdy and looks great. However, we were obviously sent a used product when we paid full price for a new one. 👎🏻
