Does what it is supposed to do . Keeps the onion from smelling up the fridge.

This onion keeper is great if you don't have alot of strengthin your hands, had to send one back I bought on Amazon and one I purchased at local retailer due to having to get my husband to open for me.This one has a snap on the side and is so easy to open, love it.

Love the way it closes. Good quality, easy to open and close. If you want a longer shelf life, you should wrap your onion, but even though it gets a bit dry, it's still fresh enough to use with a bit of trimming and peeling.

Does the job it was designed to do. Fits in the crisper.

ihave otheronion keepers;however, Icannotopenor close them with one hand unless by pressing them onto a nonskid disc and turning.This white vinyl keper has a snap lock I can easily manage one-anded; besides, it's plenty big for the largeonions iprefer.igaveone to mysister and realizd ineeded one for myself.it's perfect! I ould l use another for my red salad onion.

I paid the high unreasonable price for this onion keeper so that I could store and find the half-used onion quickly and to rid my fridge of plastic cling wrap. Upon first use, I opened this to find a bad smell of onion, a smell of old deteriorating onion, which had turned 'mooky.' And after washing the 'keeper' the odor remained. Odor does not wash out and there are no holes which I think are needed as the onion gets mooky and smelly closed up so tight. I regret the money I paid for this and would look for one that has holes and possibly is made of clay?

I feel the cost was a little high for this item. However, it does the job of keeping a cut onion fresh and your whole refrigerator does not smell of onion. Good overall purchase.
