The Cricut Explore Deep Cut Housing with Blade makes it easy to cut a wider variety of materials for your projects. When equipped with the deep cut blade, the Cricut Explore machine can cut 50+ materials, including most materials up to 1.5 mm thickness. Use the deep cut blade to build personalized wall calendars from chipboard, cut your own stamps from rubber, create wood veneer embellishments, or even make custom magnets. It can cut leather, craft foam, mat board, felt sheets, glitter cardstock, and more.

Good for cutting stencils using plastic sheets
What the fine point won't handle well with small lettering on cardstock, this blade does well with sturdier plastic stencil sheets. Does have a tendency to attach to bits of the plastic, so paused a few times to clear the blade.

Big disappointment
I thought I was buying an official Cricut deep cut blade, but upon using this blade I noticed the magnetic grip inside the housing the holds the blade in place is very weak. I also noticed the blade moved around as if it were loose when attached to the housing which is very bad for cutting. I am not sure if my purchased product was defective or if this is just the way it was made. I ended up buying a Cricut deep cut blade at Michael's instead. Super not recommended.

Deep cut blade
Needed this for a long time and this was a great deal. My only complaint is how to use it with the crafting plastic sheets. I dont believe its in the product. It is the machinne and in which i dont know how to set propertly. I am currently using the cricut explore air 2.
