Install Essentials 504K OEM Interface Stinger Shock Sensor with LED Valet Pod

I bought this because I couldn't find the oem Infiniti shock sensor (discontinued) so this was my choice after seeing literally a few recommendations but no real reviews. It works with your factory alarm, and offers a sensitivity adjustment as well as a valet mode. This thing is cool, and now gives me piece of mind knowing that my car can remain oem and still offer protection against break in. I had it professionally installed, due to me not wanting to tear my car apart myself. ANY alarm shop can install this (its only 3 or 4 wires). The only con to this alarm is the LED pod/valet switch (the black piece in the pic with the toggle switch on it). Its huge, and it you dont have a visible LED light to show everyone that you have an alarm (the whole point of having an alarm), then you have to mount this where it can be seen during the day, however it can seem tacky in an upscale interior. I personally opted to conceal mine but some people will have no problem mounting it to the underside of the dash, or somewhere on the console like near the shifter/ashtray areas or even overhead. For the price vs oem its a good deal, and you get a bonus valet switch. I appreciate the extra piece of mind, and my alarm now will go off if my car is hit by anything harder than a snowball where it didnt have that ability previously. The best thing is that the car operates as stock, and I didnt have to hack into my electrical system to install the viper alarm at $1000 which would mean another remote along with the Infiniti smart key, and possible warranty issues. I really wish I could do a remote start too, but the amount of bypass modules and crap I would have to go thru makes that option unrealistic. If money is no object go for the gold with the Viper with all necessary add ons or spend under $50 for this if you need your money for other things, and dont mind warming up your car the old fashioned way.
