Husqvarna Multi-Purpose Axe A1400

Love this axe. It's very compact, like a camp axe, but still two-handed, and it's weighty enough to deliver some serious power in each strike. I do wish they offered this same head on a 28" handle like most other "Boy's axes," but this is still a great size for brush clearing in tight quarters, taking it camping, etc. Very well balanced for both splitting and cutting tasks. Decent wedge profile, and a hammer poll add to its versatility. Highly recommend.

This is the toughest axe I've ever seen. Without doing some silly "destruction tests" on it, I'm confident that it will hold up to any conditions I will ever experience. I like axes and have several and enjoy using them, this next bit is my own personal opinion, coming as it does from what I've found to be my favorite axes. The angle of the bit of this axe is quite wide, all most to the point of being a splitting axe. I would expect in a timed trial test against a regular axe to see that this axe required more effort with less wood cut. But then it's a trade off: the wider angle makes this axe much less prone to damage. (and by the way, this axe is very blunt as it comes to you, it must be sharpened) Normally I use an 26-26.5 inch handle on my axes, the shorter handle on this axe felt crimped but workable. But definitely not a favorite. This axe comes with a blade guard/carrying handle. The guard is a nice bright color (hard to loose) but it is so over done, I think it must have been designed by a committee. This axe will go into the box of emergency stuff I carry in my truck. Although I'll never love it, I think I can depend on it in an emergency.

Awesome axe which I use for trail maintenance. Get a file and sharpen it and you will be impressed. Lightweight enough to throw in your pack, heavy enough to limb, sharp enough to debark. Love it

Well built, weighted, and rugged enough to be used and abused all day long. Cut over a hundred trees since I got this axe and it stays on my side ready for every wedge.

I had high hopes for this Axe based on all the reviews and the quality of my other Husqvarna tools but this guy is laughable. Its so dull you couldnt butter bread with it much less split wood. I was going to keep for a truck axe/emergency but likely will return. Also way way to light.

Great axe , has built in front guard overstrike protection . Perfect mid range size and weight . Good also to keep in vehicle for emergencies . Fantastic axe for preppars , hunters ETC . Orange color makes it easier to find in case lost in field . Good zombie insurance .

Die Axt hat einige gute Aspekte - Der(Fehlschlag ) Schutz, Rückseitig der Hämmer und sehr gut im Griff- ein Test bei nassem Wetter wird es dann genau zeigen. Die Axt hat ein sehr guten Lösewinkel auch bei sehr wiedrigen (Äste u Verwachsungen) Gehölz. Für eine Spaltaxt - Perfekt. P.s. Die Negativen Bewertungen über schärfe sind haltlos - Will ich eine Spaltaxt, od eine Fällaxt ? 🤔
