Great sound for the price, holds my tablets well.
Pulled it out of the box, not expecting much for a 20 buck product... but I was pleasantly surprised when I had the thing plugged in and connected to my nook hd+ (running the cyanogenmod on microsd - I bought recently through amazon)... bluetooth hooked right up and I was watching "Epic Rap Battles of History" in no time.Connected Samsung Galaxy S2 phone to it no problem.Really decent sound.Only one minor issue is that most phones will HAVE to go landscape mode in order to sit on the stand. Also, some bigger tablet cases may get in the way also, I simply flipped the bulky side of my nook's cover over the top like a tent. Given the typical measly speakers on a tablet or phone, this is sweet - it also will come in handy for holding up tablets when I try out new recipes I find online (I'm not advanced enough at cooking to go "au natural")The included cable for connecting to audio ports make it handy for (older) mp3 players without bluetooth... and the usb will give you a charge, though some newer devices that require more than standard amperage (like my nook or the galaxy) may only get enough juice to keep the device from draining. This is not a con, mind you - those devices simply require more than basic amperage in their chargers. Your mileage may vary. For the price, this was easily worth it.Rock on.

Good for music, not much else
So, I originally got this because I wanted something for my night stand, so I could fall asleep watching a movie or something. The sound is amazing for the size of it and the dock is perfect, it just looks pretty and sleek, but the speakers cut out ALOT.If it does not detect any sound, its like it powers down the speakers. Once it detects sound, the sound comes back on. So if you are listening to music, the sound is great, and the bass is nice for the size.If you are watching a movie, audiobook, or listening to a podcast, its horrible (or as the speaker would output, "rrible") It cuts out inbetween every word that is spoken since it doesnt detect constant flow of sound. It's nice if there is background music playing during any speaking, cause then it won't cut out. Also, on soft music, it will cut out, cause the frequencies are too low or something.... But for 20, its a good music speaker... although I really got this to watch movies. I'll need to get a different one to watch movies, but I know I won't find one that will hold my phone/ipad as well as this.

Horrible
I bought this because I was looking for something better than using my phone speakers when listening to music in my room. So I found this nice deal; originally $60 down to $20 + $5 shipping and delivered in 3 days(I live in Texas). It works as a Bluetooth speaker, but the AUX cable that it came with has horrible quality and stability issues(sound is not constant and a lot of static). There is a noticeable amount of static than most speakers I use when the volume is cranked up.I'm hoping to use a better AUX cable to see if it will fix the problem.1st day use, will update......February 25, 2014The aux cable is actually perfectly fine, I tested it in my dad's car today. It is horrible with the speakers however like turning the jack causes static and the sound is not constant. The blue tooth is horrid; it doesn't play the song continuously unless it is at a minimum volume. For example my Galaxy S3 has to be on 8/15 to be heard normally, while anything under that is choppy and laggy.I would not recommend buying this product at all. It is possible that I could have a bad one, but from what I've read it happens a bit too much. Buy from a trusted brand and spend a little more;it's worth it in the long run.

i'm having better luck with no gaps in the playback (where it turns off and on when senses no input?) ... having better luck with an old ice cream sandwich tablet. it doesn't even come with bluetooth, and i plug it in with the coax.otherwise, yea -- it's kind of impossible to have it cutting in and out like that. still works as a back up speaker and the sound (now that it is constant) is really pretty good. i'm not a crazy person that buys $3000 speakers or knows that much, but it definitely puts out more than you would think from the size.

Great Bargain
Had it for three days, device was easy to connect once it came out of the box. A few things:>Weight is good, definitely can hold a full iPad without tipping over. That was a concern I was looking for, but they did a good job.>Speakers are alright, I wouldn't call them 'tinny'- but they're definitely not up to Sound Dock scruff. If you want a Bose Sound dock, get a Sound dock. If you want a speaker in the garage that runs off your phone's Spotify or Pandora, this is a good buy.>Build quality is great, with the exception of the power button. The key is off center. Not sure why.

Great! But not perfect.
Was looking for a device to play music from my cellphone that is low enough to almost ignore, but still keep me company. This is not it. Whether Bluetooth or wired it requires audio to be loud. HUGE points for style and capability alone. At normal volume, this is a great player. Very noce low end from the down-facing subwoofers. But if the volume is too low, the music cuts out. Or if the track goes too quiet it cuts out.

Excellent Product, Excellent Price!
My iPad speaker is less than adequate, since I am hard of hearing and do not always wear my hearing aids. The Kinyo Bluetooth speaker system was the answer for me. It is quick and easy to set up and produces excellent sound quality. You still control the volume via your iPad, but once you have that set to your liking, you can sit back and enjoy. The only draw back I’ve found is the length of the power cord. If the power cord was at least 12 feet long, it would provide more flexibility on where the system can be used. The built in iPad holder makes it a one piece system. I “Highly” recommend this product!

Much better than I was expecting.
I ordered this needing a small set of speaker and a stand for my iPad Mini 4. I thought I was getting a cheap set of speakers in a cheap plastic holder. What I got was a very nice iPad holder with some very decent speakers. The sound is much better than I was expecting and it is very well made. I just could not be happier with my purchase.,
