Q: Are the batteries replaceable? Could i use 2500mAH or more batteries?

Not too sure, but the backs are removable, but are secured with 3 screws as they are waterproof. They are rechargeable and work extremely well. Sorry unable to answer your questions but hope this information helps 😀.

Q: Is the battery life on the dxpmr300 correct at 12 hrs claimed. i need to be sure of 10 hr usage on a ten acre site. are these up to it?

As per my experience, the battery can hold 36hrs of standby. Of course, in an intense use and depending the setting(light, volume, headphone use or no...) the autonomie will be extremely variable. Hard to say, but I will go with full day of use it’s ok. Good devices

Q: Can you use clip on speaker mics? Due to not liking things in my ears.

You can use your own earphone/ microphone you don’t have you use the DeWalt ones supplied
