Great device at a great price
I uploaded a video demonstrating the colors but I don't see it listed so I'm writing a review instead. So please excuse me if this is posted twice. This thing is great. It gives you the option of the removable lithium-ion battery or to Triple A's. It's lightweight and compact but not too small. It is the perfect size. I have a terrible time with typos on my Android phone because my thumb takes up like six of the keys at once. With the USB to micro-usb adapter that I got from Amazon I can use this lovely device on my phone. Now, the product itself doesn't feel like it's built that strong (because its so light) but that does not take away from its performance whatsoever. I mean, I wish the back was a little grippy but with the contour and size of this device, theres no way you will drop it. I seriously have no complaints whatsoever. But I will mention that the device I got only has three colors (as shown in the video that I uploaded.) Not that it matters to me because when I use it during the day I have no need for a backlight. I highly recommend this product. I also highly recommend picking up the USB to micro-usb adapter to use with this on your smartphone. I got like four of them for $4. It will enable you to use a mouse and keyboard on-screen. It navigates beautifully on my android phone.

Good Couch/Bed keyboard
I've bought this kind of keyboard many times before. They generally don't last. This one has been going strong for over a year so far. It is not the highest quality product.. requires line of sight to the receiver .... But it's a great keyboard for the bed or couch

Great Product With Great Customer Service
This product is exactly what it says it is. You connect it to your computer with a provided usb adapter and it just works. It's a great size to leave on the end table or coffee table for your couch. The trackpad is responsive enough and the keyboard lets you type with relative ease. I love this product for how cheap and great it is. It made me quite sad one day after about 2 months of use that it just stopped working. I contacted support and went through some steps to try to fix it. However it remained broke and they sent me a new one for no cost. And the new one came in less than two days after they sent it. This is overall amazing. Thank you!

Has its problems
UPDATE: Well, less than a week later and the keys are getting less and less responsive, requiring harder and harder presses. This sucks. And my preferred model is still unavailable. :/ Gotta drop a couple of stars, as this thing is now useless. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My previous remote keyboard had the thumbpad on the right - this centered thumbpad is a bit awkward to use. Also, the thumbpad often scrolls the page or sometimes "clicks" while you're merely moving the cursor, which is irritating (scrolling is supposed to require two-finger swiping, and, no, my thumb isn't unusually large to be mistaken for two fingers :P ). The keys must be pressed harder than my previous one, and some keys, especially the spacebar, have to be pressed extremely hard or they won't register. The battery life is much less than my previous one - I use the keyboard quite a bit, and the battery discharges 2-4 times a day, while my previous keyboard (same battery voltage, also lighted keys) lasted all day. Maybe this is due to the automatic color changing/transitioning the lighted keys do (which is bothersome). I'm still using it, though, so I guess that's some testament to its functionality (I'm just waiting for my previous model to become available again :/ ).

Great price, good initial quality, poor durability
PROS: I was pleasantly surprised by the remote at the beginning. It reminded me a lot of the Rii 2.4GHz Mini Wireless Keyboard (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z81U3YY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which I had once owned and enjoyed. The awesome thing about this remote though, was its price. It's half the price of the Rii which is the reason I decided to buy it. In terms of feel and build quality, it was comparable to the Rii though slightly below. The Rii has a rubber-like feel to the casing while this remote's casing is your basic hard plastic. I don't want to give the impression that it's chintzy though, because it felt solid and took several drops. The buttons were impressively just as good as the ones on the Rii model if not better because of the white colored edging which helped you distinguish one button from another (see pics). What I also appreciated was the bezel separating the track pad from the casing. I've owned other wireless keyboards, including higher end Rii models, where the track pad is simply part of the casing and invariably you end up touching it all the time which gets annoying. What was definitely superior in this remote compared to the Rii was the charging cable used. This remote can be charged by any old USB micro B charger which everyone has laying around from their old phones, while the Rii uses the more obscure mini B. What's more, this remote was plug and play just like the Rii. CONS: To be honest, this remote and the Rii model are so similar that I would have to say one is a knockoff of the other. That isn't to say that knockoffs are bad, they sometimes can be better than the original, but in this case there are some glaring problems. The first problem was the battery. The Rii model has an internal rechargeable battery, this remote has what looks like an old flip phone battery that was shoehorned in to the back. The charge on the battery lasted a few weeks the first time, so that was good, but eventually in subsequent charges it would last less and less until it eventually died. This of course happens to all chargeable devices, but the problem was that I only had this remote for two months before it died. The second problem was the deteriorating nature of its wireless range and key inputs (button presses). At first you could hold the remote in any direction and get the device (Nvidia Shield in my case) to register an input. I live in a small apartment, so I cannot speak to the distance too much, but I remember being in the bathroom and controlling the TV from there (yes, I know this is disgusting). But as time went on I noticed you had to sometimes press a key two or even three times to get an input to appear. Also, if you weren't pointing the keyboard towards the device it would sometimes not register at all. OVERALL: Great price, good initial quality, poor durability in battery life and hardware. It lasted two months. Just spend the extra 10 dollars and get the Rii which this device is a clear ripoff of anyways.

For those having issues with backlight options: Charge battery fully before use, otherwise extra backlit options won't work. For other backlit options, no need for 2 finger swipe, just make sure you press FN+F2 and then hold FN and swipe one finger at the BOTTOM of the mouse pad. Swipe left to right or vice versa and it will transition to all colours available. Amazing that it goes into sleep mode in 30 sec, so you preserve battery life. Well designed to fit in your hand and good size keyboard buttons. After charging, turned it on and it immediately worked. Love this product!
