FFP and illuminated for $150? Believe it!
I give it 4 stars for its price range. After watching some reviews on YouTube and reading the reviews on Amazon I rolled the dice on this scope and won. I am rough on my stuff and put it on my trunk gun where it was smooshed and jostled under kids bikes and other junk. Then took it out to shoot a 2 gun match where I made consistent shot out to 600yds. The reticle isn’t the clearest, and the illumination is a bit smudgy, but the knobs track consistently and its solidly built. I figured if it broke I wouldn’t cry to hard about it. I believe that this $150 FFP and illuminated scope is fantastic!

nice but Not quite there.
I gave it a try because I like Monstrum product and I was hoping to get a great deal. First let me suggest to sell it with the option of whitch mount (Monstrum of course) will arrive with the optic, because the ring I received are not super stable or nice looking (at least for me).PLUSThe scope by itself its well made and durable, nice coating, I really like the reticle and the fact that it's first focal plane. Illumination at 1x look like a really large red dot (it's a good things)CONSBetween 4x to 6x the focus get blurry (as most of this 1-4/1-6 range of price optic) adn the eye relief it's pretty short, turrets and magnification are hard to twist and the turret specifically have a little play.OVERALL It's a legit 1-6x24 FFP scope with illuminated reticle that will work well for beginner, weekend plinker and people on a budget. Beeing in the 160$ range price though, there are few other options with bigger name (Truglo, Bushnell, Vortex, Athlon, etc) that have of course plus and cons too, but overall are slightly better. Love the brand but this specific scope did not satisfy me at the price it is. Eventually I'll try gen 3 of it and the alpha series because I Really want to prove that Monstrum it's really good brand

If you can afford it buy something better. If your life depends on it, don't buy this.
The quality seems on average pretty good. Happy with the eye relief and the fit and finish.I just wish I had spent the extra and bought the Gen 3 version.I am not happy about having to lock the turrets with an Allen wrench. That is something the Gen 3 fixed with pull up and push to lock turrets. The rear lens cap will not stay on if you adjust the focal adjustment all the way out. My eyes are not the best, so to get a clear view I had to do that.I did not use the included mounts since I used the quick disconnect mounts made by Midwest industry which I already had.The illumination for the crosshairs is pretty bad. At the low setting it can only be seen in a dark room. When turned to high it makes the cross hairs fuzzy. This is with both the green and red lights. Really the worst feature is the illumination. The quality of the optics is way better than I thought they would be at this price range. For that reason I gave it 3 stars.

Basic Performance= desired results
Nice value, but if you're not used to "old timer" scopes the the reticle enlarging as the magnification increases will throw you.The reticle remains clear and easily useable throughout the various magnifications and definitely delivers the package to the desired location. No expert, but it definitely meets " minute of deer" requirements for my plate.

Amazing quality for the price
This scope is everything as advertised. I compared it to and considered getting a Vortex Strike Eagle, but ended up with the Monstrum after comparing features and reviews. I am not disappointed. I've only got about 200 rounds through it at the moment, but everything is working well. The FFP feature is very nice for variable optics. With the reticle lit and the zoom to 1x, it's almost like having a red dot. The large turrets and the ability to set them to zero for dialing in shots is very nice. The only draw back I have found is that the flip up scope covers are very cheap and not very tight. The rear one has to be loose so that you can adjust the eye relief, but it is too loose and comes off very easily. I would rather have had just two scope covers joined with stretchy chord. However, I usually toss my scope covers anyways, so this does not affect my use at all.

Does not stay zeroed in
The scope is a really cool looking scope. Looks great on my AR and the reticle is exactly what I wanted. But beyond looks this thing is garbage. I put 150+ rounds through it while trying to sight it in. I could dial it in to a perfect zero but 5-6 shots later it would start to drift in a random direction. I’m pretty disappointed due to all the good reviews I saw but three different people attempted to sight it in and it WILL NOT stay zeroed in. It’s a cheap scope and it shows.

Great quality with red and green illuminated rectical.
Great fit and finish although FDE finish didn't match Magpul FDE. Very solid scope, clear glass, and the illuminated rectical is great. Illuminated rectical can be swapped between red and green. I am very happy with this scope definitely recommend it.
