They have a variety of knives, stamped, forged, being the most common. The stamped knives are solid. The forged collection are the only ones I’ll buy for my kitchen moving forward, replacing my Cutco collection. Yes, if you can hone your own blade these are better than Cutco. If you can’t Cutco can sharpen them and send them back. Kinda beta.. if you can sharpen an hone yourself these are the best kitchen knives on the market. This knife has a good, sharp edge. However, it is far too light for doing heavy duty cutting and carving.
