Great kit, horrible color quality on the camera
I purchased the version of this kit that uses the OEM radio display so I can't comment on the rear view mirror display itself but the camera mount and majority of the wiring are the same.Pros:In terms of installation all the components fit well and were relatively easy to install (I would double the estimated installation time if you are meticulous). In terms of looks everything looks fairly clean once installed. There are other options for installing a rear view camera on the Wrangler that are cheaper but the important part for me was the ease of installation (no drilling or going to the dealership), the fact that is complete kit that works together, and ease of installation all of which this kit delivered on.Cons:1) The camera has good resolution but the color quality is the poorest of any OEM backup camera I have seen. The picture is clear so you can see what is behind you but the colors are definitely off.2) The camera doesn't have parking guidelines which makes backing into a parking spot difficult using the camera as it has wide angle so you get a wide field of view.Overall:If you need a backup camera, don't want to spend the time going the more custom route, and can handle not having the parking guidelines, I would recommend this kit. If Jeep ever does come out with a OEM option for the Wrangler I would probably change my mind. I have heard that some Jeep dealers will offer to install backup camera on the Wrangler using parts from other Jeep vehicles (430N and 730N radios are paired with a backup camera in other Jeep vehicles) but mine wasn't interested so it wasn't an option. AEV also has a version of this kit (which as far as I know is also made by BrandMotion?) that has a similar mounting bracket but the camera looks a bit different, however it is also an additional $100 and I wasn't able to find any good reviews comparing the two so I bought this version because it was cheaper and the AEV was out of stock at the time.
