Easy & effective
Bought reluctantly after a mouse avoided my 3 humane traps for a week, leaving droppings around kitchen, sofas & kids' play areas.First night it chewed through part of the plastic pressure plate without activating the mechanism and absconded with a bait-cup's worth of Nutella. Second night I heard the snap and it was dead instantly. These traps are not infallible but are easy to use and relatively effective compared to the live-catch traps.

Man the hunter
Ok we have an old stone house with a mass of cavities and winter mice 🐁 move in.DONT Poison as they rot and stink and it is a cruel dehydrating death.Live traps are an issue for the happy clappy but the subsequent release of a social creature into an unfamiliar territory apparently is an inevitable death sentence as well. Chucking them at your neighbors property is also rather un Christmasy 🎄 and will get them back at yours in the hour.So to death......... I got 4 diff styles on Amazon which was far cheaper than a visit out from the pest control professionals who seem to poison no matter what. These are the ONLY traps to buy. They key is that they are very sensitive for the smaller lads who are just about breeding age. They love peanut 🥜 butter (crunchy as we have some class left) and they seem to whack the vermin at the right point suggesting a quick demise. No need to handle as I just open the trap up in the fire 🔥.The taps with the yellow bar are too tight and need a elephant or rat to trigger. The little mouse shaped plastic ones with a spring just disintegrate and need rebuilding which ain’t sensibubble as they would be covered in mouse wee etc.I guess I could just live with them micey🐁 but with kids the risk of decay moulds on the mouse poo 💩 is not healthy. You can get cheap corn snakes 🐍 to release but beloved has seen too much Harry Potter to make this a realistic option. The sicko useless male in me does also get a small bit of ’naughty’ pleasure when i have successfully outwitted Micky or his mates ......... hardly a great example of evolution but that’s the modern world 🌍............. just enjoy

Did the job!!
This did the job.You will need to place a small amount of food but at the back of the device. At first we used larger pieces of bread, which the Mice got away with. Once we started to use small pieces and place them at the back it work perfectly.

Absolutely lethal
We had a mouse problem in the autumn and had tried several of the humane traps, which unfortunately proved useless, albeit the mice clearly thought they were amusing! These traps however are lethal and ended the lives of at least 16 mice. I'm not keen on hurting any animals but they were infesting our food supplies and as mice are incontinent they were making a mess. So I had to resort to these. They're easy to use and when baited with Nutella (baiting them is less risky for the operator than standard traps btw) the results were immediate. I'm pretty sure that the demise of the mice was very swift as the spring pressure is significant, but unlike some traps these didn't result in any puncture wounds (no blood) and disposal of the recently departed is a simply by pressure on the spring arm to open the jaws. You then just rinse the trap under hot water and you're ready to use again. Sorry mice, I didn't want to do this, but you ignored the humane traps! Great value for money and these are the nemesis in waiting for your resident rodent.

They work!
Sorry no pics as although I want rid of the mice from my garage I still don’t relish seeing them in the trap. But they do work. First night x 3 and last night x 1. Will probably keep using for next 10 days just in case but hoping not to p too many more. I used a one large soft date which was enough to load 6 little feeding tubes. So relieved they worked so quickly and no mess, blood as design seems good to snap around neck so hopefully a quick death as well ( in terms of animal distress).

Wow ! Result first night !
Well what can I say. As we live in an old ex farm house we have an occasional mouse problem under the kitchen cupboards.Tried the wooden traps to no avail , in fact the sweet tasty treats were taken with the traps left in tact.Read the reviews for these little beauties and thought at the price why not. Wasn’t expecting anything really just thought i would give em a try.Placed the traps as described about an inch from the skirting with the treat side toward the skirting and clicked it back to set. Next morning one dead mouse. Couldn’t believe it had been successful and so soon. These traps are not messy at all, easy to bait , easy to set and easy to clean. Can not recommend enough if you want rid of mice. Can highly recommend a famous chocolate company’s chocolate caramel pieces. Ensure you squeeze a pea size piece into the bait cap hard so they cannot just scoop it out.Now reset and see what happens.

Brilliant design and they work
These arrived yesterday.. After having used the humane to be freed traps and catching one. The otherS and when I say others I mean 20+ scattered all over my 500 year old cottage. With entry holes galore was not enticing these ghastly disease carrying critters. So I with a hale Mary and a God forgive me ordered these. And whollaaaa.. I'd love to imagine its the only one taken residence, but research informs me to not be so ridiculously naive. But it's a start and I'm over the moon. These ARE BRILLIANT TRAPS. SO EASY TO SET UP. I follwed instructions meticulously and squashed chocolate raisin and peanut butter in the little cup.Squash it real tightly in so the mouse has to dig deep and not grab and run. A little tip. Obviously with gloves on to mask your scent, I rubbed peanut butter over the trap. Its oily and doesnt stick but the scent of that I assume makes it all too tempting. I thought I'd feel a sense of guilt with a dead mouse on my hands. But I dont. Not one iota .. Buy these traps and say 5 hale Mary's
