Great Coding book for beginners as well as review.
My daughter wanted to learn more about coding and loves this book. Easy to follow, but full of information. Breaks information down into chunks and tests knowledge. We love all of these books.

Teaches Terminology in Computer Science well
Great book to learn terminology. Read 2 chapters a day. Liked the review questions. Don’t be discouraged in the Python section. There are multiple ways to write code. My Python code for the review questions were different than the answers, but gave the same results they were looking for. Coding can be flexible. This books will not tell you how to setup Python. Had mine already setup and ready to go. So you will have to do that outside the book.

Great Entry Point
This is a palatable and easy entry point to computer science. Anyone looking for actual commands for a programming language will need more, but this helps one to understand the general terms and concepts of computer science in a note-like layout.

Great Overview
This book is very elementary but is great for me. I grew up with no internet and there were no real computers yet in college for personal use. All of the terms and practical computer use is covered thoroughly at the intro level. I only used computers at work and home and learned everything on the job.

This guide breaks down complex topics into manageable, bite-sized pieces, making learning both fun and easy. Its clear explanations, alongside engaging examples, have helped me grasp concepts that once seemed out of reach. One of the highlights of this book is its friendly and approachable tone. It's like having a personal tutor guiding you through every step, ensuring you build confidence along with your new skills. The illustrations are not only helpful but make the learning process more enjoyable. For anyone looking to start their coding journey or strengthen their understanding of computer science fundamentals, this notebook is a fantastic tool. 8th Grade Homeschool Review: As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education. Subnote: This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It's all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.
