Secure a Pet GPS Dog and Pet Collar

We have been shopping for similar items and this is priced very well. We have run tests from several locations and it found our pup within minutes on the GPS map on our iPhone.Here is how it appears to work: For the monthly fee of about $8 the collar stays connected to a cell service. Once a search is triggered, a cell signal sent to the collar to turn on the little LEDs on the collar and the collar reports its GPS location via the cell connection. It's a pretty cool system The only problem is if the pet is not in view of a GPS satellite or not in Cell reception area. But then again, if your pet is not in view of a GPS satellite, none of the GPS collars will work.We also like that they include a spare battery and wall charger so you can swap them out when necessary (about every 2-3 weeks)Their customer service has been very responsive when we have a question or suggestion.

This is a terrible product. I contacted and received 4 different collars & batteries. Each set didn't work. I talked to the owner of the company and he is aware that the collars don't work and blames it on the manufacturer. I received a partial refund after many attempts at emailing the owner of securapet. He still owes me $20 and won't reply to my emails now. Do youself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this product. I'm looking to buy a different product that works.

This item seemed like a wonderful way to locate my pet who is escaping over six foot fences all the time.Unfortunately, the gps system is not yet available in Canada, but I am hoping it is coming soon, as I know this will work wonderfully.

We got this for our Yorki-pooh and it has not worked right since we received it. They are aware of the problem because it's with all the collars ~ they just keep sending new ones that don't work. Save your money, or just flush it down the toilet ~ same result?

I had the same experience as some of the others. The product never worked. The company ran some kind of diagnostics and told me it's the cell service in my area. Of course the site shows that I'm in a good place. When I drove the collars around to try it elsewhere, I also got no results. It's a great concept but this product doesn't work. Also the company doesn't stand behind the product.
