Noise and Interomone Spray (1 oz)

My dogs habitually charged the door roaring if anyone rang the bell or even walked up the steps, and in the car they would bark and leap around like maniacs if we passed another dog or person. InteroSTOP took care of the problem within one or two sprays. All I need to do now is pick up the can if they act like they want to bark and they STOP making noise and slink away. Not sure how it works but Thank YOU to the person who developed this! It's wonderful and effective. No yelling or anything else, just a little pssst.

Upon recommendation of our vet, I ordered this. It works well although the noise it makes wasn't as loud as I expected it to be. I could have gotten a product that is very similar from PetSmart without shipping charges (although, since I have "Prime", that wasn't an issue in this case). I will probably just go to PetSmart next time. Oh, it did have a customer service number that I called to ask about the loudness of the "hiss" sound and she assured me it was making the kind of noise it was supposed to. The dogs did respond to it although it took a few times for them to get the point and they still need an occasional reminder. Now I can just make the "hiss" sound myself and that usually takes care of the situation.

Did not work on our lab. It did work on my friend's dog, that is a smaller breed.

We have a 2 1/2yr old dog rescued from the streets of Taiwan and he is by nature a wary, fearful dog. Recently, he has been charging at our blind, senior dog when she approaches us for treats or attention. We thought we would try the Interostop to interrupt this behavior and curb his resource guarding tendencies. After trying it a few times, I agree that it works as advertised but I do not feel this is the best approach for our sensitive dog. While the phermone does appear to have a calming effect, the noise which precedes it is an aversive and therefore not an appropriate training tool for us. It frightened him enough to make him cower from me when I approached him afterward. If there was a way to silently deliver the phermone, I would give it 5 stars, but scaring him away from bad behavior is not in his best interest so we won't use the product again.

I was introduced to this spray at my vet's office. The lady behind the counter had a small dog and when the dog started barking, she sprayed this and the dog behaved the rest of the time I was there. I have two German Shepherds and they like to bark, along with a couple more annoying behaviors. I was excited when went home and ordered it. I was disappointed to see that even though I could tell thy didn't like it, it didn't stop them the way this is intended. So 3 stars it gets from me. I've seen it work on a smaller dog, but it did not work for my two GSD. I personally will not order again for my current dogs.

Would definitely recommend this product! I have two 40 pound dogs that pull on the leash so hard when I take them for walks that my arm feels like it's going to be pulled out of the socket. I only had to spray this a few times on our walk the first time I tried it and they stopped pulling. Now I just bring the can with me, show it to them and they walk so nicely now. A couple of times I forgot to bring it and if they started pulling or barking I just pretended I had the can in my hand and made a shhh sound and they were good. Great to stop barking and any bad behavior. Love this stuff! Worth every penny!

One of my dogs is an out-of-control barker, a 5 times rehomed rescue with nervousness issues. We tried every positive method possible -- many months of clicker training and relaxation techniques. Interostop worked immediately. In fact, it works so well, I rarely have to use it. I just hold up the can and he composes himself. If I don't have the can, I just imitate the psssst sound it makes.On the other hand, my other little rescue barks uncontrollably at other dogs. He can't seem to control himself. Interostop doesn't phase him. You have to try it to see if it will work.Do NOT spray it on your dog or in his face. Just spray it nearby. Couple it with positive reinforcement of good behavior.

My sister-in-law recommended this and said the people she had recommended it to, called it magic spray. My newly rescued dog barks and lunges at cars, people, and other dogs. We tried treating him when he didn't do the behavior, and had trainers come to help us. Although he loved the treats, the behavior continued to the point we were avoiding situations that would trigger him. Which also meant avoiding what he loved, going on walks in the park. We tried this spray. He instantly stopped the behavior and that worked for the next few cars that went by. When he resumed the behavior we sprayed again and he stopped. Highly recommend.
