This knife is great. Think of it as the new and improved rat model 1. I own two rat model 1 and I love that knife but this is right on par with it and in some ways better. Fit and finish are excellent. Solid as a tank. Not super heavy not to light just right all night you will win the fight. That was my mix tape, thank you.And thank your self if you buy this knife. Because it's very good. Don't forget it's ok to be white.

Even though this is knife is considered a value folder it has one major issue. This knife is advertised as right handed, left handed tip up and tip down carry meaning that the clip can be repositioned 4 different ways. But, if you are right handed and prefer tip up carry like many people this is not the knife for you. When you position the clip this way it presses on the frame lock making it very difficult to open the knife and even harder to close it. This is a serious design flaw. Other than that issue this is a serviceable knife. Nice blade shape, great satin finish. AUS-8 steel not the best but good enough for EDC task and easy to sharpen. I also like that it has a thin profile even though large its still pocket friendly. 3 stars only because when compared to other value folder such as the spyderco tenacious (best of the bunch) and the ontario rat model 1 which are both awesome for the price point this falls short.

The knife is great but took a little work to get there. The frame lock came super stiff making the action slow and difficult to open. Tried taking it apart and cleaning up the action but it was clear that the super strong lock bar was the issue. Had to over extend it a LOT and many times to weaken it so that the action would be smoother and it wouldn't be painful to unlock or to break the detent to flip open, but now the action is extremely smooth and rockets open with little effort. I also hear lockup can vary on these knives but mine is at about 40% which is ideal for me. The thin steel frame on the lock side and a polymer scale with a recessed steel liner makes this knife insanely thin for its size, similar thickness to a Cryo or skyline. This knife is made in Taiwan in the same factory that pumps out the Ontario Rat Model 1. This knife is obviously modeled after the ontario and is almost identical in dimensions except it is much Much thinner with a slightly different blade shape and stronger lockup with the frame lock design. The Ontario is a very popular EDC knife and this knife is essentially the same knife but better in quite a few aspects. Took off a star for being difficult to use out of the box but after adjusting the lock bar it's an amazing knife. Great ergonomics as well, the thin profile can lead to discomfort with extended periods of hard use but for EDC I prefer to sacrifice long use comfort for a thinner profile in pocket.

This knife has become the one I grab everyday. It's a large knife but nice and thin and fits in the pocket easily. It came razor sharp and opens and closes with ease. I prefer it over the Rat and highly recommend you try it.

Excellent knife! I carry it to work everyday. It comes shaving sharp out of the box! I wouldn't hesitate to buy again! Shipping took a little longer than expected but that's the price you pay when you buy online

This knife has two major flaws. The blade deployment is way too stiff, and it is impossible to close this blade one handed. The frame lock is way too strong, it will leave your thumb sore to the point of not wanting to use it. If these to flaws where corrected I would give it a perfect score because the build quality is great. the blade shape is perfect. Its Big enough to be a defensive blade. This knife will not quit on you.

Good knife. Large knife for big hands. Seems to be well built. I like it! Sharp out of the box.

A hard unlock out weights any good. To bad. The knife could be a good one. Gave it away . Lesson learned.
