150PS Magnetic Water Pump

Wow! My second Pan World pump and third overall and it is SO quiet I wasn't sure it came on until I heard the water running. Excellent quality, I expect it to last nearly forever.

Great Pump, very powerful and very, very quiet. Plus - fast *** non prime *** shipping - I was amazed I tried to stop my order when I found out it was BlueLine and to change my order to buy a Iwaki MD55RLT Water Pump (Japanese Motor). It shipped so quick I could not stop the order. This vendor sells both pumps Iwaki and Pan World, so no problem. I am glad I got this pump, very pleased with all aspects and quality of this pump. Now lets see how long it will last, then again I may be pleasantly surprised - with this pumps longevity. At first - I was worried about my new BlueLine pump not being Pan World. The pump is a Pan World pump, but has a BlurLine label logo. The second little sticker on the back of the pump has Pan World information. I am very pleased with this purchase and have bought a 40PX pump that is on the way.

The person that conducted the installation of my 300 gallon aquarium over twenty years ago, selected this pump for the set-up. Since then, it had worked non-stop. I only had to replace it once because it became a bit lauder, which was the result of a build-up of sand and small shells around the impeller. The service process only entailed a simple clean-up

these pumps are amazing. I had one running non stop, except for brief cleanings, for over a year without any issues. the price is right also.

I use it for my Aquarium salt reef tank. I had a smaller pump and replaced it with the 150PS. I've been using it for several years without a hitch. One thing I like is that the impellor does not wear out. If it should plug with some junk it is easily removable and cleanable making the pump work like new again. I would highly recommend this pump to anyone as long as you keep it dry because it is not a submersible pump. 5 stars.

These pumps are bullet proof.

I've had this pump for about 15 years. Never had to touch it for any reason. Unfortunately today it would not spin up after shutting off system for water change. Took pump apart and cleaned the fan and impeller area (not really all the dirty). I was just able to get it running again, but is a little noisy and I think the bearings may have finally started to give out. So happy (and keeps the plumbing easy) that I'm just buying the same think and would be happy with another 15 years.

FYI... These are an exact swap-in for the old red Coralife series pumps. Great pumps, but DO NOT run dry for very long or you will warp the impeller, and these high pressure units have very little tolerance for debris due to the unique impeller design :)
