IWISS Wire Rope Swager Fishing Heavy-Duty Hand Crimper has Hardened Steel Jaws with 4 Crimping Positions and 2 Hardended Steel Side Cutter

I had a 1/4 inch wire-rope and 3/16th's piece that was coated in plastic... Crimps and Stops were inexpensive enough BUT they and this Swager Crimping Tool (remember there are hundreds of crimpers for wire plastic probably one for TP but this one is job specific). Well my plastic coated Aircraft cable became 1/4 with cover and the 1/4 inch was too tough to use this tool properly... Aircraft Cable (wire-rope) is stronger than any clamp and when it whips it can kill SAFETY FIRST SAFETY ALWAYS...

Doing the job for me. Given the low cost, dont expect too much but as I said, working for me. I use these to crimp/swedge small furrels in place on tiny cable. I don't use mine to crimp fishing line.

Works well for crimping the small connectors to make stainless tethers for my plow and d-rings and clips on my sons race car. Cuts nice as well, what more is there to ask for.

Gets the job done. The locking pin came apart in the middle of crimping and I couldn't find one of the pieces, so it no longer locks, thus the two-star deduction. That was under pretty light use. Otherwise, works fine.

For 1/8” crimping these do not have very good leverage. OK for 1/16” material

Well made too from all appearances but it couldn't possibly crimp a 3/32 connector. Don't get this tool if you need to crimp anything more than 1/16"

I like these better than the single barrel crimpers I was using before to make up catfish leaders.
