Decopolitan Oiled Bronze Leaves Bracket Pair

Lovely design and good quality. The brackets may be mounted with the leaf pointing down, or with the leaf on the underside of the shelf.The oiled bronze finish is dark with bronze undertones and reflects clearer bronze along the contours. The brackets match my chandelier and heat vent covers perfectly (all described as “oil rubbed bronze” by various vendors), but they are neither black, nor bright metallic bronze.Some reviewers had difficulty installing. For easier installation, position the bracket on the wall and mark a dot through the lower hole. Set the bracket aside and install the first screw (and anchor, if using) where you marked, leaving a little gap (approximately 1/8 inch) between the screw head and the wall. Then mount the bracket to the wall. The lower hole is shaped to allow the head of the screw through (see photo), so you do not need to try to angle a drill or screwdriver into that awkward space. Then ensure the bracket is straight and secure the second (upper) screw.Please note, screws/drywall anchors to mount the brackets to the wall are included, but you will need appropriate screws to mount your shelving of choice to the brackets.Hope this is helpful.

One of the reasons was they arnt just plain metal L brackets. I have a new lamp with beautiful metal work base with very similar leaves. Also the table under the lamp that is an antique wrought iron. All 3 metals go together nicely without being copy cats! Only one bracket out of 8 could t go into a stud! Good for piece of mind to hold all vintage cobalt blue glass. Will buy again for another wall in the future.

Love them! Bought them to mount a long shelf in my craft room. I screwed them directly into the wall studs for stability, if using the provided wall anchors I wouldn’t recommend for anything too heavy, like others have suggested I would go with the self taping kind. The negative reviews seem to all be from people who don’t understand how the slips work, they are very easy to mount & it made it so much easier for me with that long shelf, I was able to lift a 72” x 12” shelf by myself in 30 min. Most of my time was spent finding/marking the studs. I plan to order many more of these to match for cat climbing shelves I plan to mount around the house.

I hesitated to buy these shelf holders due to some negative reviews, but didn't find anything else out there so pretty. We had to buy more anchors, and it is a bit tricky to install on the wall, but any reasonably smart person can easily figure it out. We used these in my new powder room for small shelves (DIY distressed barn wood shelves made from plain old cheap pine from Home Depot) that did not hold very much, so we glued the top of the bracket to the underside of the wood. The antique bronze color perfectly matches my towel bar, faucet, and other bathroom fixtures. The color is bronze, not black, as some folks had mentioned. These are beautiful, heavy-duty brackets that are reasonably priced... I highly recommend them!

Beautiful and simple design. I have these supporting a 12 foot long, 9 inch shelf. I used 4 for the entire ahelf support and it is beautiful and strong. Easy to mount, only complaint I have is that the outer screw hole on each side is a little difficult to get a straight set of the screw, but it's not a big deal, since it is hardly even noticable once all btackets are installed.

We really like these shelf brackets. They look great once they are up. As many others have said, they are a bit tricky to hang because of the design, but we figured it out easy enough. Also the screws threat it came with were too long for our shelves so we had to use some shorter ones, but that was no big deal.

Bought 5 sets of these for making shelves in my office. Project came out very nice, with oak stained and finished. Shelves are very sturdy, decent hardware, mounted directly into wall studs.

Much more refined and pretty than expected iron supports to be. Really like.

These are made from good quality metal. Used them as legs for a coat stand and they’ve held up really well. Nice smooth edges and they look amazing.

They're as advertised. The leaf is very cool and works with a wood shelf well. Looks good, just wish they were a bit larger.

The major problem I have with this product is that the screw holes for mounting to the wall as well as the holes for the shelf are in direct line of the decorative bend of the support making installation very hard and frustrating. What should take a maxium of 5 minutes tool an hour to do as I had to use a screwdriver tip and a wrench to fit in the small space.The product is beautiful and my wife loves it, but because of the installation problems I can only give ita 2 star rating.
