Does the magnet interfere with the s pen functionality? i have seen this reported on many note 8 cases with magnetic latches.

I have a similar case. As long as I do not flip the magnet to the back when I am writing it does not interfere. This one is probably the same.

Has anyone cards been damaged for being inserted upside down? Got a warning in my new one and wanted to know why and how serious it is before keeping.

My cards havent been damaged However !!! They changed the design with description and they dont put the magnet on the inside back anymore that holds the flap back !! This is a must if you take pictures , I returned three thinking they were defective , alot of trouble to end up with something I cant use , last year were great before they made this change , what's the point of a flap hanging in your way of trying to take pics or videos !! No response from them except , or sorry we changed the design without telling anyone !!
