Perfect for normal, regular drill bits! These are exactly what you want!
These are the correct drill-stops to use on "normal" drill bits. They will clamp onto any drill bit, no matter the style of flutes along the shaft of the drill bit. Perfect!!

So much better than the old style.
I hope he's go on sale, I want to buy another couple of sets for myself and for other people I know. They really hold on to the drill incredibly well compared to the old style of drill stop. I need some more of these so I can throw out my old ones now.

Really good stop collar
The tightening style of these drill collars is excellent and more consistent than the standard set screw type that I previously used. The set screw type of collar has to align with the high part of the drill bit while this type will tighten anywhere of the drill bit. Works better and quicker for me anyway.
