Great crossbow strings for a 80lb crossbow pistol. The very first xbow string i ever strung had a single strand come loose. I cut it, burned the tips, and had no more problems. I think i damaged it during installation. When i put on the second string, i made sure to fully wax every inch, and rub it in. I twisted the string for a lil more power, and have had no problems after 50 shots, no visible wear. I plan on buying this brand from this seller again.

As listed. No complaints except packaging. One bowstring was partially opened. I don't attribute this to the seller though. I believe based on the look of it that it was sloppy quality control on the part of the manufacturer( i.e. too little glue applied to keep the package closed)

Just like other cheap strings, this string is also half an inch too long. Therefore, if used on 80 lb crossbow with charging handles higher than the string all the time, the string would hit the charging handles hard when shooting. That means the string would be damaged more easily. If used on 80 lb crossbow with charging handles below the string before cocking, the string would gradually move towards the crossbow limb that finally the charging handles would not be able to catch the string because it is too near to the front. I had to twist the string to make it shorter before putting it on the crossbow limb to solve the problem. It can barely work, for now. Besides the length being too long, the protective string wrappings are way too loose. I could move the three protective string wrappings from side to side quite easily. The manufacturer obviously did not care to make the protective string wrappings firm and tight. The protective string wrapping on one end of one of the two strings was so loose that the end portion of the protective string came off after shooting just 3 times. I had to re-secure the end of the protective string the best I could and glued it down with silicon glue. Since I have already messed up one of the strings with silicon glue. I'm not going to return them but I'm not happy with the poor quality of this product. P.S. In spite of my effort to strengthen the protective string wrappings on both ends of the string with flexible silicon glue on the side facing away from the crossbow limb (I could not put glue on the side facing the limb because it was very difficult to take the string off and back on), the side of a protective string facing the limb broke on impact with the limb on the fourth shot. That means the protective strings on both ends failed with just four shots. I did not feel safe using those strings of extremely poor quality any more, so I changed my mind and sent them back for a refund.

They are bow strings. On the downside, be advised that the "wrapping" that protects the center sliding surface and the bow ends is not securely fastened. They will unravel on the first use unless you take the extra step of dripping a little super glue onto the loose ends before even attempting to use them. If you do that they should be fine, they are for me. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had taken that step, but considering the price they are OK, just OK.
