This is a perfect replacement for the original lighting, great price and brighter than the builder's!

There are so many variants of this lamp, in so many sizes, that you should probabky buy it at a local lighting store. The lamp that I thought that I was buying wasn't the one that arrived in the mail. Furthermore, even if it had been, it would have been the wrong one; the previous landlords had filed the bulb base down and placed the wrong bulb in its stead. We didnt buy the correct bulb until we had an electrician look at the ballast. The correct bulb was special order from a bulb specialist. There is a dizzying array of wattages and associated ballasts and it is easy to get it wrong. We did twice. The unpredictable nature of the Amazon Marketplace vendors adds too much randomness for this kind of item.

Correct fitment, but flickers for about 10 seconds before coming on fully. Once lit, it is nice and bright.

The bulb was as described, it plugged in without any problem and shines brightly at my front door. Looks like good quality. Will have to stand the test of time, as to how long it lasts, we must wait.

This worked great to replace a similar bulb in a bathroom. It's not particularly bright (and I didn't find brighter options for the same socket), hence 4 stars instead of 5. The seller, Ecotone, shipped on time and packaged it well.

I replaced 2 (827's) in my bathroom exhaust fan light with 2 (835's). Now I have a much brighter and clearer light. When researching these I thought the light might be a bit too "blue", but it is not. These are just perfect. This was not Prime and it took about 7 days days. I was in no hurry so I was fine with that.

These bulbs worked alright but only for a 6-8 month period. The original Phillips that I had installed previously lasted for 5 years.
