Finally got a chance to use these and they worked fine. We were at a camp site and the long poker worked really well for getting into the hard packed dirt and stone. I did not use the shovel because that was not strong enough for dirt (had a hard metal one) but for sand, the shovel will work fine.

Shovel kinda fell apart digging in Sand with some rocks. The front edge wore really fast. The Rest of it worked as expected

Received the set this afternoon, was everything we thought it would be. For your first set it's perfect.

No, I am not at all pleased with this product. When I placed the order there was no indication that no all pieces were in stock. As of right now I still only have in my possession the small black plastic shovel. I have no idea when the other pieces will be coming to me.
