Gloomhaven Insert

We were late to Gloomhaven, but when it arrived we were shocked at just how much stuff there is in the box (cards, standees, map tiles, tokens). Initially tried to bag all the components but it was all taking so long to set up and put away, another solution had to be found!This organiser is superb. It comes flatpacked, 10 sheets, 5 different pages with two of each. I used a wood PVA glue as recommended on the foldedspace.net website, and a flat brush to apply. As there are two copies of each tray in the set, the best way to tackle this is to dry build one tray to see where all the glue needs to go, and then build the second one using the PVA glue.. Finally disassemble and reassemble the first of the two trays, this time using glue. Some of the trays are initially a little fiddly to construct, but the designs end up becoming excellent sturdy trays. The design of the whole organiser is excellent, a space is provided for everything, even down to smaller sections for monsters which only have 4 standees, and larger sections for monsters that have 10 standees.What is fabulous is that there is also a diagram to show you how to stack everything back in the box. and (once you take out the original plastic and foam inserts) everything fits in perfectly and the lid shuts!The organiser makes everything easier to find, you can bring the trays straight to the game table, so setting up (and putting away) takes half the time. Although it's not cheap, it definitely makes playing Gloomhaven easier - highly recommended!

I was warned that once Gloomhaven arrived, I would need an alternative storage solution. Oh yes indeed - this is very true.After researching a variety aftermarket alternatives, I chose this product primarily because of price and features. The fact that the various sub-boxes can be used on the game table without taking up huge space aids set-up and put away time. This product does not disappoint in delivering what it says it does.It takes a good evening to assemble, however, and needs PVA wood glue (not supplied). But pre-cut foam board sections were very easy to extract (no hang-ups) and slotted together without a hiccup.The only small drawback I have found, is that some of the storage trays for the standee cardboard are a little too neat. Overtime, either the foam board or standee cardboard laminations may fray/separate if care is not taken. The tightness is really down to the limited space in the Gloomhaven box and the thickness of foam board required to make sturdy. At least the foam board does "give" a little unlike wooden solutions, so with care, the standees should last.A final plus point is that there is space in the cardholders for the cards to be sleeved.So overall, very lightweight, robust, modular and cost effective in relation to alternatives. Highly recommend.

Very good product for the price, as others have said before, use wood PVA glue, it does hold all contents of the game, with sleeved cards, there are support video's on You Tube for both assembly and fitting the contents of the game in the box. It takes half the time to put this product together than other Brands of organisers. This organiser is light weight but a strong product if you use the glue suggested. A word of advice, when you are fitting everything in for the first time, watch the video, depending how you have got the 17 box's oriantated depends on of you have enough space to put the board pieces in the sides of the box, the instructions and the video are not very clear on this point.

Easy to assemble using PVA glue and very durable when the glue has set. Everything fits well and the clever design ensures nothing moves after it has all been stored in the original box. Certainly a useful aid to quickly setting up this complex game and packing it away again after use, and also prevents accidental damage in storage and whilst rummaging in the box for the parts needed. Recommended - I will be buying more for other complex games in the future.

Pretty good insert, much cheaper than some others around. It took an age to build but is pretty sturdy and fits together well. The instructions are easy to follow (for construction) but I had to refer to the images on Amazon to work out where some of the pieces were me at to go as the guide isn't 100% clear (I would recommend doing this too). The monster pieces are very tight and my grid now needs gluing again but the foma gives a bit.

I might have a weird version of Gloomhaven but this organiser doesn't quite fit as advertised. Even after watching the video on the folded space website it just doesn't fit quite the way they show it on the video.Firstly the cut-outs for the enemy characters only just fit into the trays meant for them and it's a very tight squeeze. Yet on the video they look comfortably loose. Additionally they said (and showed) that when it's all packed in to the box it should all sit flush with the top of the box but it doesn't with there being a few mm sticking out over the top. The lid still closes enough to be secure but it's just another of a few niggling things that make me question the advertising.All in all it's not bad when you consider the price against the other "official" options out there. It's nice and light which is essential in an already heavy game, while feeling fairly sturdy (assuming you used a decent glue). Ultimately it's far better than the storage solution that comes with the box (aka none whatsoever) but I suspect there are better solutions out there for around the same cost.
