Naturally this type of 'chin strap' takes a little getting used to, but it is about as comfortable as it can get for this sort of anti-snoring device. I bought two of these, one for alongside my comfortable recliner in front of the TV, and one for the bedroom. I don't use it every day, but when I do: it works, and keeps me from unintentionally snoring, or having dry-mouth after a night of sleep. But, if your nasal passages are plugged-up (you have a cold) it probably won't be useful if your mouth is all that is 'clear & open' for breathing. This is a tight elastic strap, so it is possible to open one's mouth if you need to talk. You can adjust tightness of the fit with the velcro strap. Decent price for a good product.

I have worn chin straps for years and this one is perhaps the second worst, if not the worst ever. I also use a CPAP. The area that fits over the chin does not shape itself to the chin and therefore slips off during the night and loses effectiveness. This area is overly wide and just sticks straight forward, providing no support and doing nothing but catching on the nightclothes until it is worked loose. The slots for the ears are too small to afford comfort and get smaller when the strap is tightened. If the strap is placed over the back of the crown of the head and over the chin, the ear holes disappear and the strap chafes the ears all night. If the strap is placed over the chin and the ear holes over the ears, the top of the strap is too far forward to stay on the head overnight. I cannot for the life of me understand where all the positive reviews came from unless they apply to a previous design of the product

I gave this strap 4 stars only because it is not appropriate for me personally. The chin strap has two openings for your ears. My ears are particularly sensitive to pressure. The openings for one’s ears are just too small, restricting, & put too much pressure on my ears. That being said, the strap is made of a substantial neoprene-like material which should be long lasting.

Got this for my boyfriend but he still snores even with it on and his mouth closed. I think it is him not the product.

Having sleep apnea for ten plus years, I did not realize that not wearing a chin strap was allowing my leak rate, and AHI episodes to not be in the range I wanted. After purchasing the anti snoring chin strap, my AHI has dropped almost 2 points and I am no longer waking up with a horribly dry mouth. The strap is very comfortable and easy to wear.

Smells bad, too much chemicals! Does not fir well, keeps slipping off. Very uncomfortable. Does not work. Claim that it fits evereyone is not true.

The product works as described and is not too uncomfortable to wear sleeping, BUT the holes for the ears are too small for my ears and are uncomfortable and made my ears sore. Also the chin strap is a little too wide if I put it all the way under my chin it presses against my neck and is uncomfortable. If I put it more at the edge of my chin so that it doesn't press against my neck it starts moving up my chin and I wake up with it partially covering my mouth. I think for some people the product would not have these problems for example if you had smaller ears or a bigger jaw/chin, but it's not comfortable for me and I'll probably be looking for a different one.

Not just for snoring! This easy to use band is great for stopping dry throat as well.
