I have a stand alone ice maker and when I bag the ice and put it in the freezer the ice freezing together. I have to drop the bag of ice onto a hard surface to break it up. Regular plastic bags won't stand up to this. These bags ate heavy duty and work perfect for this.

I love these! They protect against freezer burn, the seal is very strong, they wash easily and over and over agian, and best of all I am not spending money on disposable plastic bags that will take years to rot in a landfill. I would say they're not practical for all purposes and due to the cost I don't let my stash leave the house!

I recently purchased an ice machine that produces 100lbs a day. With these bags, I can store ice I make over a few hours. The ice sticks together sometimes so I use a towel over the bags and gently tap them with the flat side of a meat mallot and so far so good. The bags are holding up and I love the larger size!

Purchased these to use with our sous vide because I wanted a larger bag size to cook in. After their first use two bags sprung bad leaks and I had to throw them away. Might be a great freezer/storage bag, but DO NOT use it in the sous vide. Still giving an overall rating of 4 stars because it seems like a quality product, I was just trying to use it for something it wasn't made for - my fault. Just sharing this info if there are others out there who, like me, are looking for a large size sous vide cooker bag.

Useful for saving up icecubes for a road trip or as I found out, tomatoes for the freezer until I could can them. Love the large size.

I make my own stock/broth and was using regular ziploc bags. I bought these to help reduce the waste and they are perfect!! The 2 gallon size is a great size for the scraps I save! They seal beautifully and are easily opened to add more.

These bags are much more flexible and user friendly than Durbl because they are thinner. You cannot use these in a microwave or higher heat, etc., but we have no need of those features as these are strickly storage bags - perfect for the large bags of veggies from Costco, etc. Very happy with them.

The zipper closure on these is great, never a problem getting them to seal. Very thick and durable.

The size was perfect for a large stew freezer meal. The only trouble I had was the stands do not fit the 2 litre bags. I will have to link for some. I have not cooked that meal so do not know how they wash. They are very durable.

These are very wonderful bags. I bought two sets of them. They are big enough to be functional for so many more things that the small ones. Expensive but worth it!!
