These are amazing for post hysterectomy! They do look freakishly large and like they would be uncomfortable but they are not. The mix that provides the cooling stays liquidy and helps the pad conform to your body. They don't seem like they get very cold as you handle them but they are the perfect temperature for the area, a normal ice pack would be too cold and require something thick to wrap around. The pad is soft and similar material to any other menstrual pad, the adhesive strip works much better than any I've encountered on a menstrual pad. The first time you sit after putting one of these on feels weird at first but I found that sitting right away helped it conform to my body perfectly. Walking around while wearing one of these made moving around so much easier and helped the swelling reduce so much quicker. These stayed in place while walking, sitting, laying down, and while shifting and semi-wiggling to get up. These really have been a life saver during my recovery. I had started to regret buying them a week or so before my surgery, thinking I wouldn't need them and it would be a waste of money but I am so so SO glad I had these on hand.

Love Frida mom products. These are just like the ‘witch hazel’ wipes they gave us at the hospital. Don’t waste your money on tucks (you’ll have to use 3-6 circles each time). Plus, tucks can cause irritation in most women.

I used these postpartum in conjunction with Tucks pads. These wipes, personally, I loved for hygiene after using the bathroom and following the peri bottle. They’re cooling and soothing. Only wish they made the packs a little bigger with more wipes.

The only complaint I have is that there should be more of them. They really work so well, provide a lot of relief, and the shape is so much more effective than the small round ones from the hospital, which just fall all over the place when you try to line them up and pull them on with whatever pad you're using. For your postpartum you'll probably need two or three packs.
