Best red dot rifle sight
This is the best red dot rifle sight. Mount does not come loose like the QD ones. Love the circle dot reticle. very light weight and rugged.

Good option
In this price point, usually Holosun would be the go-to. But since finally there's a solar backup option from Sig - I decided to go for this.It feels super sturdy and very light at the same time. Definitely a step up from Holosun.Came zero right out of the box. Just slapped it on the rail and bore-sighted it and it's perfectly aligned. The ballistic reticle is also a step up from Holosun.Minor downsides:- The anti-reflective mesh can only be assembled without the flip-up cover. So you need to decide between extra protection from dirt or reduced reflection. Wish they provided the mesh with a bit longer thread.- The mac brightness level is still a bit dim. Not visible on very bright background. Holosun handles bright backgrounds better.- No green option. Only red. Green would be a huge upgrade. But overall it's great optic.

Very nice Red Dot
I’ve been shooting M16s & AR15’s for over 30 years and this is my first experience with an optic on the platform. I’ve been wanting to upgrade to a red dot for a while, but couldn’t bring myself to spend the money, but I wanted to do some upgrades to my plain Jane AR4 new floating hand guards and such. I finally decided to bite the bullet and did a bunch of research online. At the price point, the Romeo 4T seemed to get a lot of really great reviews and the fact that it’s approved by the FBI for their use, that seemed like a pretty good endorsement.Wow, am I impressed! What a game changer. I mounted it to my new guards, took it to the range and got my shots on paper in a couple of tries. From there zeroing was super easy using a standard 25 meter zeroing target. You can drive nails with this thing! Used a standard military multi range qualifying target and was getting consistent 1/2” groups on the 300 meter silhouette firing supported. This is a super nice red dod and I’m glad that I spent the money on a quality product instead of going the cheap route. Maybe for someone who is super serious about shooting there is something better out there, but for the average shooter I don’t think you can do much better than the 4T.

Serioulsy Sweet
People are going to doubt this product and claim it to be an over priced Holosun clone. It is not. After about 3000 rounds, the optic held zero perfectly, groups extremely tight at 50, 100, and 200 yards with no noticeable shifts. With the features on this, the style, the battery life and the 4 reticle options, it's worth the price. Especially when we all want the Eotech reticle but can't justify it with the recalls, the bad battery life, the high price, the grainy reticle, and the Aimpoint only has a single red dot for $$$$$. Yeah, the quality is excellent on the Eotechs and The Aimpoints, but there is no doubt that the Romeo 4T is anything the sneeze at because you can't accept new products. Buy it, try it, return it if you aren't happy, but I doubt you will regret it.

Pricey, but worth it
The red dot reticles are very crisp on this, and it's a great alternative to EOtech and Aimpoint. This optic bumped my EOtech to one of the spare rifles.. It's lightweight, gives you several built in reticle options, and the battery lasts quite a long time - love the solar panel function if the battery does happen to fail.

Auditioned them all, this is hands down the best red dot for rifles.
I bought and auditioned all of the most popular red dots for ARs including Aimpoint T2 and this this was hands down the best red dot for rifles. The 65 MOA additional circle is awesome, not unlike the E-Tech, only the red LEDs are as crisp as imaginable. The high-quality Japanese-made glass has zero blue tint and zero magnification. This 4T unit uses upgraded materials compared to the other Sig 4's; stronger base, denser aluminum body, increased water resistance.Used by top professionals engaged in real world global conflicts.I'm buying backups.

So far so good. Nice optic.
I am using Romeo4DR optics on my rifle caliber pistols, and got this for my primary Carbine. I wanted the solar power backup and the increased water resistance of this version while retaining the same reticle. I like the hex nut clamps as opposed to the Torx on the $DR as it is easier to torque properly and service in the field if necessary. The only complaint I have is that the manual does not address the removal of the flip up covers to use the optional cover and flashkill device. Additionally, i would prefer the marking for which direction to turn the windage an elevation adjustment to actually be on the adjusters as opposed to being laser etched in the body of the optic. The next generation should have tethered caps for the battery and adjusters.
