Captain America: The Tomorrow Army (A Mighty Marvel Chapter Book, 2)

My son loves the story. However, when he got the book he was disappointed that it was colored in with pencil on multiple pages.

This is my son’s very first chapter book. He is just finishing 1st grade and was super impressed with himself for being able to read it by himself. The story was well adapted for his age group. Not dumbed down so that older readers will not enjoy it and not too challenging that younger readers will get easily frustrated or lose interest. Very good story for teaching kids the importance of being able to ask for help and working as part of a team. Marvel never disappoints.

My seven-year-old son is a good reader, but he's lazy about it and rarely *chooses* to read. But he read this book cover-to-cover in two days and pronounced it "the best book ever." If your child likes superheroes, this is a great choice. As for the reading level, it's good for advanced first graders (there were some words he didn't know, but not too many; which is how you learn new words!). I am no teacher but I guess that would make it good for average to advanced second graders, average third graders, or struggling fourth graders.

Once I bought these, I couldn't stop him from reading - he tore through the series and just loved the stories. There aren't an overwhelming number of words per page, and the illustration style breaks it all up. I just wish there were more of them!!

My son read this book and he absolutely loved it! You can't go wrong with this series. The graphics and the style of the writing really keep a reader engaged. Your child doesn't have to be a fan of the Superhero. The book will definitely deliver with some details about the Avengers and Superheros in the book that will make it appealing.

I got this for my 5yo super hero. He loved listening to it, and I actually enjoyed the story as well. Also like that it's a book he'll still go to when he can read it himself. I bought the whole series.

Bought for my nephew for Christmas as he needed to read more chapter books for school. This book is more weighted on reading and the story line and a few pages with comic imagery.

Writing a review on behalf of my seven year old who absolutely loves this book--both for the story and the artwork. He asks for it repeatedly for our bedtime read.

Arrived quickly. Not advanced enough for teens, but they will probably still enjoy if marvel fans.
