Grandmother changes tub drain
I replaced the tub drain myself. I was actually redoing a job that a handyman did not do well. This tool was great, simple to use and worked well.

Careful
Delivery was timely and product looked like the picture but the only drain this thing will remove is one that you just put in and didn't tighten too much. The metal is a low grade casting and can't handle the stress required to remove an old drain. Mine broke a tooth before I even laid into it.

Works great. I didn't need to use heat at all. Fit perfectly. Used in conjunction with a pipe wrench. Would purchase again.

Broke after first use - recommend steel drain remover!!!
This tool broke after the very first use - I would recommend buying an iron or steel drain remover next time!!!

Putty worked better.
Provides grip that is needed to screw in tub drain plug, that is brand new from Home Depot. It worked even without a crescent wrench. I used Plumber's Putty instead of foam washer. Putty worked better.
