Moisturising Cream 200ml by Astral

I have been using this product since I was a child; my parents used to tell me at bedtime that it was time to put snow on my face. Was so excited to find out I can buy this from Amazon; when we ran out I tried using other brand-name products and it wasn't the same. I have south-asian, tan-ish skin and a lot of products in the stores around me just don't have the same results on my skin. With Astral, it's like the skin on my face and the rest of my body are drinking some much needed water. And if I don't have Astral on me during a trip or overnight stay, my skin definitely feels dry and nothing can make it feel hydrated. The lotion is creamy, very soft and is not oily. The scent is subtle and soft. I like the packaging, the product has never leaked and the cap twists off easily. If you're looking for a new moisturizer, I would say this is worth a try. I always put it on the morning before my Aveeno SPF 30 BB Cream, then I put on concealer & blush, then Tarte powder to dull the glossiness from the products on my face before work. Perfect combination and I know my face is hydrated until I come home to clean my makeup off before bed, which then I re-apply another round of Astral. Also, the shipping time to America is a bit long but I order a few big Astral jars twice a year; I really hope this product is around forever. Thanks Amazon :-)

My skin loves this!!!

I'm not usually a huge fan of typical lotions, preferring to use oils like shea butter instead. Most lotions get really runny and make me sweat. And forget about using it on my face! It would break me out and make my face feel sweaty and itchy. A friend of mine recommended this to me. I really like that it's not top thin amd it doesn't leave that "lotiony" feeling on my. It's thicker but not outrageously so. It's light and doesn't feel oily. I was able to use it on my face withno negative repercussions. Sadly the price has gone up when I went to order another one but it's worth it.

This is the absolute best moisturizer for super dry skin on the face and/or body I have ever used!!! I have spent lots of money trying to find products that suit my skin at my age 58. Before Astral, my skin was itching and peeling. Nothing stopped it! I read Joanna Lumley’s profile on how maintained her beauty with great results using Astral. She is a beautiful woman with beautiful skin for age (not sure how old). I ordered a tub of Astral and I’ve never looked back! Because it has lanolin and petroleum jelly , the skin has a moisture seal. Your skin is protected from harsh conditions including environmental factors. You must try Astral! The price you can’t beat! A little goes a long way! For me, I like applying it after a shower or washing my face to utilize the moisture on my skin. Pat face to remove excess moisture and use about a dime-sized portion to start. Rub into face, neck, and dellocate’ until absorbed. It will leave your skin moist but it will absorb quickly. You should notice a difference within a week. I am going to order my 28-year-old daughter a tub for her long-term Skincare. Hope this helps!

Cream jar was small in size than expected

Really happy with this product. The scent starts out strong but tapers off - that said, it might be off-putting for some people. The product works extremely well for my sensitive skin. It's thick and creamy but absorbs well. I will purchase again when the pricing improves/drops (price seems to have jumped to an unrealistic level since my original purchase).

I bought this from an article I read that Joanna Lumley (actress and model) has used this for 40 years. I figured that if it's good enough for her, then I'll give it a try. Use it lightly and gently massage it into the skin. If you use too much, it can tend to get a tad greasy. When used as I mentioned, it makes my older skin softer and moisturized until I take it off before bed and apply it again lightly for overnight action. I've noticed my skin is definitely softer after only a few days.

It would be great if fragrance free!!!

Very nice cream with lovely smell.

A long time ago, I heard on the tv, Joanna Lumley say that she’d always used Astral Cream, and her skin was beautiful. (Still is) I’ve used Astral since I was in my 20’s. I’m late 70’s now. My skin is in very good condition. It’s so good. Wouldn’t be without it.

Thick, hydrating, good old fashioned night cream. My mature skin loves it. I might even buy another if it’s a good price when I run out.

Very nice cream. Quite thick consistency but easily melts away. Good for the whole body.
