didn't work for what I originally wanted but...
I bought this neem oil in an attempt to control a fungus gnat infestation naturally. I have two kitties that hang out by my house plants and I can't use anything toxic around them so I decided to try neem oil despite its mixed reviews of success on controlling fungus gnats. After about a month of continuous use I can say it didn't do anything to disrupt the gnat population D= But it still works for other purposes. I have a Venus Fly trap and they are very sensitive to chemicals, minerals and even fertilizers. I noticed some green fungus starting to grow on the dirt around it and mixed the neem oil with distilled water and sprayed it down. Within a few days there was no more fungus and my VFT is as happy as ever springing up lots of new traps. So while neem doesn't get rid of the gnats it gets rid of fungus naturally =D next natural solution im looking at for the gnats is Diatomaceous earth.

Has a terrible odor
The oil works as it is supposed to. It conditions my hair nicely but it smells so bad it is hard to use.

Works Like A Charm!
I ordered the oil to use as a topical ointment on my Frenchie's mange. The item arrived on time and worked like a charm. The only downside is the smell. It stinks like garlic, but I gave it a five star rating anyway because I already expected that (since I did my research:). Althought the smell is very potent it can be minimized with lavender oil. I found it to work best if you leave it on you dog and try not to bathe them TOO often.

Makes an excellent organic pesticide when properly mixed~
I have used this product as a pesticide on my vegetable and flower plants with great success. Applications must be diligently applied for effectiveness.I contacted the seller of this product and I verified before purchasing that it is organic and pure. The neem oil arrived with its cap partially open (oil residue was all over the place). I lost about 20% of the oil due to this. I contacted Amazon and, typical of their excellent customer service, they applied a $5.00 credit to my account. The neem oil arrived in a plain amber bottle with no directions. I've noticed that several reviewers have complained about this. However, there are so many uses for this product that I doubt it would be reasonable for this seller to include directions for all uses. I've noticed that typically when you order/purchase a homeopathic product, directions are rarely included. It is up to the consumer to be educated on how best to use the product for the consumer's intended purpose. Based on this reasoning, I feel it is unfair to expect directions to be included with this product. My purpose for this product is to create an effective organic pesticide. I read an article on this subject written by Dr. Edward F. Group, III. Dr. Group was writing for The Global Healing Center. His article is entitled, "10 Homemade Organic Pesticides." I think a Google search help you quickly find it. In this short article there is a pesticide recipe calling for both neem oil and peppermint liquid soap. I am using Organic Castile Liquid Soap Peppermint Dr Bronners 16 oz . The recipe makes two quarts (way more than I need at a time, see below for my reduction). I reduce it by using two cups water, one teaspoon neem oil and 1/8 teaspoon peppermint soap. When properly mixed with warm water and administered with a spray bottle, this pesticide works wonders for me. So far I have seen gnats and white flies hover around my plants and then quickly fly away after getting close. Aphids have not been a problem at all. I spray my plants every third day or so. I evidently missed one of my tomato plants, and it developed a serious aphid infestation. All the other plants around it had no bugs at all. This convinces me that this pesticide formula really works.Because the formula I use can quickly become less potent, I make smaller batches and I refrigerate my spray bottle containing the unused portions. I broke down the ratios to 2 cups warm water, 1/8 teaspoon liquid peppermint soap and 1 teaspoon neem oil. As I said, this formula is working well for me.Just a warning: This product smells terrible. I just had to "suck it up" and deal with it. Given the results I've had, I can deal with a little bad odor. The smell does wear off after a while. When I purchased this 8 oz size product (and also as of today), the price was 4.90 plus 4.99 for shipping (total 9.89). That is a pretty competitive price. However, I recently purchased on Amazon a 16 oz bottle of neem oil for $12.30 with subscribe and save Coastal Scents Neem Oil, 16.90 Fluid Ounce . If not purchased with subscribe and save, the price is 12.95 (with free shipping for Prime members). In light of this, this product offering might be better if you require more than 8 oz. I contacted Coastal Scents today, and they told me that, while not certified organic, this neem oil is 100% natural and pure.Due to the price of this 8 oz product, I knocked off a star. There are definitely more competitive prices our there for larger quantities. As I said, the product works wonders for me, but every customer experience is different.

Not what I ordered, sold by Greenals -Beware!
I wanted a 100% pure cold pressed oil to use in garden and as essential oil (aromatherapy). I searched and read reviews and found what I wanted. However, when packaged arrived, I was disappointed. It was from a different company (wfmed) and I don't know how they extract their oils. Normally, I would just send it back if it was free shipping kind of deal, but with $4.99 per per 8 oz bottle plus $4.99 for shipping I'd loose my money. I'm willing to risk it on the bark of my trees, but I won't be using it in aromatherapy or on foods I eat. I wanted to use it on the plums as I live in very "buggy" area and loose all my plums to worms before fruit matures. This is not the first time it happened on amazon when I ordered something and got off brand, some poor substitute of lesser quality item. This should have been listed separately, since it's a different item!!! It was sold by Greenals.

Neem oil
I received this product very quickly and undamaged, but the quality of the product is not what I had come to expect. It was more like olive oil than neem oil. It didn't have any smell at all of neem. I wouldn't recommend the product.

Great experience
Product arrived quickly! I was upset at first that my neem oil appeared to be neem butter, but since it has been cold I assumed it was simply that and waited to write a review. As suspected it warmed up and all is well, it smells nasty but just as all other neem products I've used in the past. Would definitely order again.

excellent product
Got what I was looking for. Before ordering it from Amazon, bought a 1 oz bottle of neem oil from Whole foods for 11$. Used it like gold before it ran out - fast. This was true value for money. Neem oil is what it is, smelly oil. But it does what ever you bought it for.Excellent product.
