National CycleN20700 VStream Windshield - 12.25in./Clear

Ok, I initially was going to rate this 4-stars because of wind management, but let's be real - this is the lowest, sleekest, sexiest windshield National Cycle offers for us XC owners. It's very well made, thicker than stock and the Klock Werks one - which, by the way, scratched very easily. So, I'm giving this 5-stars being exactly what it advertises it is. I had the Klock Werks one briefly and it just didn't do it for me. I'm 5'10" and the Werks one shook my head all around above 60-65 mph, this one's great because the air seems to be "cleaner" coming across my helmet. I still get a little buffeting but it's much "softer" than before. I ride a motorcycle to feel the wind vs. caging it, so I really like this shield. If you're trying to choose between the Werks and this one, try this one first...or try it second and return your Werks. :D

The windshield looks great and is a great height for me 6'. But, the build quality is sloppy. The holes do not line up properly and are not drilled in a manner that centers the windshield. The screws on one side I had to add rubber washer to space it so as to not crack the windshield due to the screws actually hitting the flared portion of it. If it were not for that this would be a 5 star product. Because of this quality I am contemplating returning and going with a different brand windshield.

This is my second purchase of this windscreen. I sold the first one and installed another brand. My first thought was the Vstream felt better. Now that I’ve gone back to the Vstream, I’m not totally sure. Then again most events have been canceled and my riding miles are down. Obviously I purchased it twice, so that should speak for itself.

First off, great build quality and the angle and V shape looks amazing. When I measured for the windshield I came up with 9.5in but there was this one and then the 10.25in one so I went with the shorter size. I am 5'9" and the top of the windshield comes to my mouth maybe my chin. Unfortunately, my head gets tossed around like a bobble head and got a headache within a few miles. I've been wearing a great full face helmet for a few years now and rode other bikes with and without fairings on them, but I get a ton of buffeting from this screen. Even the stock screen is better than this. Since I installed it and tested the windshield, Classic Cycle Parts won't accept the refund. How else are you suppose to know that this shield doesn't work well if you can't test it out?!

I like this windshield. It definitely moves the air around you better than the my factory windshield. I can hear my faring speakers better. It is much darker than the factory windshield and I like that. Good quality though it wasn’t a perfect fit. I made it work. Would buy again.

Windscreen is great for trips that don’t take you on the freeway. I am 6’4”/250lb, and I sit above the air pocket causing bad turbulence. Live the look but best used for moving under 50mph
