Seems a good game after couple of hours playing. Not sure there is much of an improvement from 2018 but in my opinion looks better and seems faster gameplay for what I want it for. Career mode is not really for me but do set up my own championship so I'm pleased with purchase so far .

Another year, and another release. Some nice tweaks. Would like to Understand more about the aerodynamics and other settings to make the car less lively. Feels familiar to previous versions, but still a great way to spend an afternoon.

I have always been a career mode player so, with the exception of 2015, this is my least favourite F1 game so far. To my disappointment F2 is only featured very lightly in career mode, it was all over in the first hour. There is even more press waffle in-between races with limited black or white responses. The invitational events don't seem to offer up much, I still cant see why/how a Renault driver would be allowed to drive a Ferrari or Mclaren in-between race weekends. Some well known favourites disappear from the grid in career seasons and are replaced buy 2 cringe worthy caricatures. (I lost Carlos Sainz and Kimi Raikkonen but I guess it depends which team these driver graduate to from F2) the AI does seem a little more competitive but still too placid, they very rarely deviate from the racing line to defend positions, you can normally second guess their defence. In Career Mode, qualifying seems to have become a 1 lap shoot out rather than Q1 Q2 Q3, its possible that this can be changed, I'm just not sure why this is the default. Still poor calibration for brake pedal. As far as positives go, the car upgrades are genuinely noticeable, set up changes make a decent difference, it looks sublime and you don't seem to get penalties when others hit you like you did in 2018.
