Great sketchbooks, using them for college classes and they have not disappointed! They can even handle a light wash of watercolor or marker, and the cover might be my favorite part. Artwork courtesy of a friend, the covers can handle paint and paint markers very well! No disappointments here!

So I just got my package today and look through the pages the first book looks like it has something on the bottom. And the second book had a dead bug in it. I’m not overall picky because it’s simple fix like ripping out one page. The over book still debating wheater to throw it out. But I hope the company or suppler take looks at there inventory and find better way to store there products.The main thing is the book look great and pages are nice quality I would recommend not to use heavy base ink but overall great buy for cheap price.

the books look good. the paper itself seems to be of adequate quality. i like the amount of pages there are per book. however to my disappointment it does not accept my preferred media very well.very fluid inks like fountain pen inks and other liquid inks bleed pretty badly on this. the fibers of the paper are just too long and the ink spiders out with most of my preferred methods of sketching. some wet media seems to do better than others. thicker drawing inks like India and hi carb seem dense enough to sit on the page without much feathering. even watercolor seems to behave if not applied too wetly. marker is largely pointless on this paper.dry media seems to be your best bet with this sketchbook. pencil lays down well and color pencil handles the subtle tooth decently.bleed through seems to be minimal, nothing transferred to the opposite page anyway.i can't foresee myself using these unfortunately. i think they're good for the price but just a bit of a disappointment for what i wanted to use it for.

I like these. I wish the paper was a little thinner and more white. That's not really a defect but it's what I was hoping for and keeps me from liking it more. It strikes me as a little rougher and yellower than I'd like. Not abnormal for drawing paper at all. But if you're hoping for something a little more like normal printer paper or journaling paper you may find it a little rough, thick, and yellow like I did.I'd like it if the manufacturer offered this same book with 80gsm, brighter white paper. This is suprisingly difficult to find.Again maybe not fair to take a star off when nothing is really wrong or different than advertised, but it was my reaction and felt worth sharing.

These feel just like a well made book, and everything about them surprised me. The paper is great quality and slightly textured. I love the abundance of pages, and the color of the craft cover is really pleasing and neutral. I made one of them a cookbook full of recipes I’ve found, and the other a sketchbook. I’ve been using a pilot v5 extra precise and although you can’t draw on both sides of the page there is no bleed through onto the next sheet of paper even when I lay the ink down thickly. These just have a lovely solid feeling, and they would fit well next to books or look classy as a collection. I’ll update if anything goes wrong, but for now I’m very impressed.

These journals were everything that I expected them to be. The paper quality is top notch and the binding/cover is sturdy.... looking forward to adding my designs on these!FYI...Paper is more on the yellow side, so if you’re looking for (bright) white paper... this journal might not be what you want to purchase! I’m not picky when it comes to paper in my journals as long as it will hold up to what I need it for!

Honestly I was hesitant to order anything with a kraft cover because always think it will not last but these seem very well made. Ive already done plenty of writing in one of them and the cover hasnt bent or weakened yet. Also the cover, being paper based, is very easy to draw on and decorate to your liking without damage. They are bound together very well and none of the page groups seem to be loose. Definitely better quality than I expected for the price.

We bought these to paint and letter on the covers. So pleased with the generous amount of pages and sturdy binding. Quick shipping as always and excellent quality.

This pack of two books arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition.I seem to have a lot of notebooks that don't get used , mostly because I don't want to spoil them (admit it, you do too, I know i am not alone!), but always have another couple of 'ordinary' books constantly in use. These books were ordered as 'ordinary' books.I didn't really expect them to be anything exciting but I am really pleased with them and very pleasantly surprised by the quality.The two books are identical, with plain kraft type covers, hardback, and loads of blank pages.The paper quality is very good, the pages are cream, and will take various pens, pencils, fineliners etc with no bleed or shadowing. They aren't really suitable for using wet products such as watercolour, but would be ideal for glueing things in. Everything looks and feels well made and securely put together.I really like them, definitely recommend.I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading.
