It works to provide power and signal on a 2 meter cable
Female USBC to Female USBC adapter. I used it to extend Poly bluetooth dongle from my docking station to get it higher in my office to increase the range of my headset. Also used it to extend the power USBC power cord for my Poly Headset charger. So far no issue, I did check that there is a limit to how far you can extend USBC cables but no issues with a 2 meter cable for just power and signal. I tried attach two USBC cables in series but the dongle wouldn't work. Cheaper than trying to find a USBC female to USBC male cable.

as good a coupler as you can get
Cellularize has been a great company in my experience so far. These little adapters are great in practice and perfect to fill out the toolbox for spares. These couplers seem a bit too long and feel a bit loose but the truth is if you need a 6' cable, best to get a 6' cable but these can combine two 3' cables for one 6' cable without loosing any charge ability up to 100W and it transfers data fine. Just remember, if your cables are rated 60W, don't try 100W charging just because the coupler can do it.

Very Good, for What it Is
I haven't had it long, but for what it is (see below!), this product seems very good. The problem is it is tricky in a few ways. Read on. Bottom line, two points: First, USB-C can do video (and high speed data), but video and really high speed data is only designed to work for a 2-meter cable. If you use this adapter to build yourself a much longer 4-meter cable (or more!), expect poor results. And even if used just for power delivery, you might get lower currents on too-long cables. Second, because of how USB-C cables are wired, you have a 50-50 chance that when you plug together two cables you will plug them together in a way that doesn't connect from one end all the way to the other. If this happens, try unplugging one of the cables from the adapter (just one of the two), turn that plug over, and plug it back into the adapter. The second point is an annoyance, but the first point is a big problem! What's the point of making a long cable if it won't work? Good question. In my case (see picture) I have a little hub that can handle power, ethernet, video, SD cards, and two more old style USB connections. It is small and has a very short cable: I don't want it hanging from my computer. I like using my laptop on my lap, and that hub dangling there is annoying. So I use this adapter put the hub at other end of a longer cable. A 2-meter cable. Yes, I am over the 2-meter limit, but only a little bit. I haven't tried it yet with video, but so far it works well for ethernet and power. Given these two limitations, this product is of limited value to most people. I am quite glad I have it, but you might not have a need for it. Explaining the 50-50 thing: A USB-C cable has two complete sets of contacts inside the connector on each of cable, but it has only one set of wires that go to the the length of the cable, so at one end only one of the two sets of contacts is connected to the wires inside the cable. And at the far end of the cable that one set of wires again connect to just one of the two sets of contacts. On both ends of the cable the other set of contacts are effectively dummies, they go no where. (The computer--or other device you plug the cable into--has the responsibility to figure out which contacts go to the other end and use them.) So what happens when we use this adapter to plug together two cables? Each cable has two sets of contacts on each end, only uses one set, but the adapter doesn't know which is which, it just connects each of the contacts it sees through from one cable to the other, whether they are in use or not. When you plug two cables together you have a 50-50 chance that you are connecting a set of contacts that ARE in use by one cable to dummy contacts that are NOT in use by the other cable. (Bah!) Similarly, you have a 50-50 chance of connecting contacts that ARE in use by one cable to contacts that ARE in use by the other cable. (Yay!) If you use the adapter in the unlucky configuration, it is as if you never plugged the two cables together at all.

Experience lines up with other positive reviews
I bought these to extend the input of a usb c/hdmi adapter for use with a Steam deck, & also had the experience of the adapter not working for me right away. I am using Monoprice cables on all sides, & only one of the usb c cables I had on hand was compatible in the end - it may be that usb 3 is required, or just that Monoprice is quirky af. I did need to try flipping the ends around as well, but it now works without any issues at all once I finagled a connection, so far, so good anyway. Would recommend at this price.

The one i got doesn't transfer data
Overall a good product i suppose if you need to charge something. I got it to connect 2 usb c cables for Oculus link and i know both cables are good for power/data because I've tried both connected direct to my pc but i add in this adapter and i get only power no matter which orientation I've got it in. Disappointed

Power, data, video and audio confirmed with this coupling on USB C and Thunderbolt
This coupling works great. I was skeptical as I have tried a ton of different cables.I have been waiting for the opportunity to ditch my power cable, hdmi, and extra usb cable. I had a 3ft USB C 3.1 cable that came with my samsung monitor 43"CJ890 but it was not long enough. I found a 6.6ft long thunderbolt cable that also worked that you will see in the pictures. I need to use my macbook pro on my midi keyboard controller and also still be able to see my recording software on my monitor. This requires a 10' of cable. The Cellularize coupling did the trick to connect my cables and have all the functionality I needed.

Doesn't work with samsung phone even in reverse or 180
So with my short cable my s20 charges in 1 hour when I used this coupler it didn't work so I flipped one cable 180 and it works but it takes 9 hours to charge my phone! Also doesn't work with samsung dex and doesn't screen mirror either. Overall it really sucks. Also tried hooking up my laptop to my tv and it doesn't work unless you use one cable only without this coupler. I'm very very disappointed.

Working So Far for Quest 2 Link Cable Extension
I'm using this to link two 6ft cables together to run an Oculus Link for my Quest 2 VR headset. Works great for this, With the two cables chained I'm getting the same speeds and charge rate as a single cable would, so this adapter doesn't seem to be causing any performance loss in my case. I did have to experiment by trial and error with plug orientation before the Oculus Link would pick up the chained cable, the adapter seems it requires a certain orientation to pass data and charge at the same time. Does exactly what I need to do once I figured out the right orientation for the adapter and cables, Have had it for about a month and a half with no issues. I received two adapters and both work equally well.

If you need to extend a usb-c cable or in my case plug an Apple Watch charger into a male usb-c plugged in under a desk. This is the dongle for you! Saved me getting a new usb-c wall charger

I needed one of these adapters (along with a standard USB C cable) to allow me to use my Steel Series 7 headset with both my PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Sure I could have purchased an additional Steel Series dongle to achieve the same thing. But at around £40 incl. shipping this option worked out much much cheaper. I simply swap the dongle between the 2 cables now when I need to switch consoles.

I'm using this to extend the usb-c connection between my Galaxy S9+ and my unbranded Dex Station, for running the phone with a PC monitor/keyboard/mouse/ethernet and it works perfectly. No need orient the adaptor in a particular way and it supports the data rate required without any problem. The usb-c cable I am using also supports higher data rates.

Didn't work in my setup - needed to go man mini to TB2-TB3 apple adapter to Cellularize USB f-f adapter to powered usb 3.1 SSD enclosure. This did not work at all. What worked was substitute the Cellularize USB f-f adapter for a Caldigit Element hub.....that worked. But it's an expensive way to do it. It looks like the Cellularize USB f-f adapter cannot pass any signaling and/or bandwidth and only power.
