Product arrived as expected and performs its duties well, once set up. The setup, however, was difficult and slightly confusing. The instructions were not clear on the fact that you have to use the remote, rather than the unit itself, to tune the device to broadcast to the desired station. I spent nearly ten minutes playing with it before I figured this out. My only other complaint is that it has not thus far automatically reconnected to my iPhone -- I had to go in to the settings and manually reconnect the device upon my second time using it.UPDATE: I have had this product for approximately two months now, and recently began to notice some issues with its operation. At first, it would refuse to connect to my phone until I had restarted the device many times, and would cut out at random times -- though my phone would still be playing and connected to the bluetooth unit, no sound would come from the speakers -- forcing me to restart the unit to hear my music again. Today halfway through my drive to work, I began to notice distortion in the bass no matter the settings, eq, volume, or type of music -- this got progressively worse until I was forced to turn the unit off, not only because of the poor sound quality (the music was distorted to the point I could not understand it, and the bass was extremely loud no matter the volume level it was played at), but for fear of damaging my speakers. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product after the reviews I read and the money I spent. I will be submitting an A-Z Guarantee claim. Hopefully I got a lemon, because I liked the product a lot until these problems started.

Easy to use. Wish it automatically connected back to phone when I got back in to car. Also wish the usb port wouldn't turn off device when it's charging a phone from time to time. Also, have to turn your car radio volume up super high to get a good volume. But, it does work. My main issue is the setup when you get back to the car. Almost tempted to leave phone in car for short stops. I have to turn off my bluetooth, turn back on, connect and pair to device, pick a album or song, then adjust volume. It's only like 1min or 2 of work but if you make frequent stops it get's old.Update: Product has stopped working now 6 months after purchase with limited use. Disappointing that this item failed so quickly seeing as it is a pretty low tech item. Device will sometimes power on but then power off seconds later. Definitely related to low build quality.

I read all the reviews before I bought this item and I was worried because it had some bad reviews because of static and breaking only after a month or so but, I've had this product for over 6 months and I haven't had an issue with it. This product is amazing. I found a good station and have never had to change it even when taking 6/8 hour road trips to the beach and the mountains. The only thing I found was when I would talk on the phone with people they could hear me. So if you are looking for something specifically for Bluetooth phone calls this isn't the product for you. But if you want something to play your own music this is the product for you. Also sometimes if you're playing music and your phone service is bad (like going thru a dead zone in the mountains) it will kick you off the Bluetooth, but all you have to do is turn the FM transmitter off and back on and you shouldn't have a problem.

This transmitter works very well for wirelessly playing audio from an old phone over my car stereo. I've not used the sd feature, so I can't comment on it, but the bluetooth works excellently. One thing I especially like about this device is that if it loses connection to power, it stays on for a few solid minutes uninterrupted. This is very convenient when you have an older 12V power port & you're driving down bumpy roads.

Where to start. The instruction manual is useless. Took me 20 min to figure it out and I'm a tech guy. The magnetic base serves no purpose because after it is detached it breaks the signal. Oh speaking of signal strength, tons of static no matter what station. Have to touch my phone or the device itself so it can use my body as a conductor for better signal. The hands free calling feature is unusable as you can't hear the person calling. Everything this thing say it does it actually does but very, very poorly.

Magnet isn't strong enough so if you try to use it sideways, the top piece falls off the base. It has a lot of static when transmitting to radio and it is difficult to make it recognize your device Bluetooth every time you get into the car.

This device works well for transmitting music from your portable device to your radio but the bluetooh calling mechanism doesn't work. The person on the other end, the person to whom you're speaking, cannot hear you at all.

Does the work! Looks kind of fragile but no incidents so far.
