Bad for bugs, great for your garden
I love this bug blaster! Last summer my garden was almost wiped out due to an impossible white fly and aphid infestation. I was determined to not let that happen again this year. We have an early growing season here, and when I started to notice the white flies on my chard and kale, I started blasting every other day or daily. The bug blaster has made a big difference in the numbers quickly. Yes, I still have some white flies (which is why I spray often) but the numbers have decreased significantly. I am hopeful that it will keep the numbers in check so they don't destroy my garden again. All my greens are planted close together, so I'm sure I'm missing areas. After bug blasting my artichokes for about 2 weeks, they have remained bug free. Super happy with this produce. I wish I had found it sooner.

The Bug Blaster DESTROYS White Flies!!!
White flies were the bane of my existence. Aphid Lions work, but only while they are larvae. Once they become mature Lacewing flies, they leave your garden. Lady bugs are great, but they are free to leave too. Pesticides didn't kill them. Neem oil didn't deter them. Yellow sticky pads caught everything BUT White flies. The Bug Blaster was my last resort. Fortunately, it works exactly as advertised. In fact, brute force removal of the eggs is the ONLY sure way to break the reproductive cycle of these pests and eliminate them once and for all. In addition to being pest free, your plants will look amazingly clean! If you have pests, get the Bug Blaster!

Works as described
It is really quite a wet mess to use it. After the last use, I found about six of the mites congregating on the bottom of the pot. So, I'm sure they'll be back, but I still prefer using this method to using pesticide.

What happened here??
All I can say is that it doesn't work at all. no matter how you hold it. Can't understand why as the idea is right, the production seems to be good - but the streams of water do not do anything to dislodge the soft body aphids I am fighting. On the other hand, the jet setting on my regular garden hose works great except that you need to hold your hand behind the plant you are spraying as the stream will knock the plant down. And, even better news, is that you don't get soaked. Save your money - this item way overpriced and it just doesn't work. I have returned mine.

Needs improvement
This product was recommended to me for managing aphids in my greenhouse by Shane Smith, author of the Greenhouse Gardener's Companion and founder of the Cheyenne, WY, botanic gardens. If you don't want a bath as you use it, you'll probably want to reduce the 360-degree arc of the water it sprays. Shane suggested tape; I found Sugru moldable glue most successful. With the spray arc thus reduced and adding a Dramm brass swivel https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01994ITH8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 at the watering wand handle, this product works pretty well. I like that it's made partly of brass, and it's lasted me a couple of years now, I think. It would be much improved if it had a dial that allowed adjusting the spray arc so that you don't have to modify it with the Sugru. I read about a similar "$5 hack" here: http://blog.thekatsgarden.com/?p=3888, purchased the two parts from Amazon (buying two of the head sprinklers anticipating that these plastic items might wear out) , and now find I actually prefer the "hacked" combo over my Bug Blaster nozzle. Again, I'm using a swivel at the watering wand handle end. Bug Blaster would do well to sell their device on a wand with a swivel on the handle end and make the nozzle spray arc adjustable like the aforementioned head sprinkler.

This is an inexpensive way to get a bug blaster if you already have a watering wand. It's difficult to get pests off of small leaves like tomatoes, but it does work if you hold the leaves still with one hand and blast the other surface. You get soaked that way, so wear your bathing suit. It is easier to use on big, broad leaves like cauliflower. Alternating bug blasting and neem application has helped get our aphids and spider mites under control. It also kills caterpillars that are hiding out in your plants.

Flat 360, not a sphere spray pattern.
Not what I was expecting, doesn’t really work well. From the image and design it looked like a sphere shaped pattern of water blast, which would be awesome. But this is just a flat 360. So it’s difficult to actually get it in different areas of the plant AND at the right angle to spray off the bugs.Make one with a spherical pattern that does higher volume/pressure (I’ve got 80psi at my hose end), and I’d buy that one.

Excellent Non-Chemical Method to Treat Garden Bugs
This works as advertised to help control garden bugs. We had a whitefly infestation that we tried treating with soap spray treatments but they just kept coming back. This summer we tried the Bug Blaster and after using it a few times, our whitefly problem basically disappeared. We bought the spray wand also and it's a great combination that only takes a few minutes when taking care of the garden.
